Many times, it crossed my mind to use the loyalty enchantment book on Varys, but was it necessary? Varys was a good player, one who knew what he was doing, but he wasn't necessary in my plans; I could easily assassinate him and there would be no consequences of that, but. I saw no profit in that.
What I did see profit in was tempting Varys, giving him breadcrumbs so that, in the end, he would come for the honey; in this case, the bread was the regeneration potion, something that surprised me greatly that he took it, knowing that he detested magic, a feeling that started from the potion some warlock gave him years ago.
Perhaps he knew he had no way out, or some alternate path that would get him out of my clutches; whatever the outcome, he was walking where I led him, and of course, I wasn't being stupid to believe in his loyalty once he 'swore' it to me, so once he decided to follow me and swear allegiance to me, he would be subjected to the book of enchantments, but for now, I would give him a choice of action, perhaps he would surprise me.
"Hello Valka," I said suddenly, turning to my right and sensing a presence there, a place where at first glance there was 'no one', wait, there was... no one.
"You are opening to magic, My King," Valka said, deactivating her invisibility and showing herself to me.
That was something new; clearly, I wasn't seeing her with my eyes; I was feeling her, though that wasn't right; I wasn't feeling her; I was feeling her aura, the magic she was giving off. What was wrong with me?
"Since the encounter with that being in Vaes Dothrak is presenting changes, My King, I have never seen someone before who was not a magic user capable of feeling it, and while you have... Gifts—watching them grow is something... Captivating" Valka, with a strange look in her eyes, stood looking at me, as a small smile formed on her face... Wait, was that pride in her gaze?
"How do you know I'm not a magic user?" I asked her, wanting to know more of her knowledge, "My King, I have lived for over four hundred years, knowing something like that is already in my blood, something we don't have but... Well, you get my point."
'She didn't have blood?' "That's why you never leave my sheets warm; I thought the cold from the cold zone seeped into my chamber."
"Well, now you know something else about us witches, My King," Valka commented laughing, and by god beloved, she looked beautiful.
"Don't do that; I implore you." Commented Valka suddenly, making me frown, "Do what?"
"That thing I see in your amber eyes—fall in love," and there she was going at it again.
"Why can't I fall in love with you? You're lovely, strong, and a feisty woman; you're perfect," I said, cupping her cheek with my hand. An act that made her look at me with her eyes as black as the abyss, managing to see in them for the first time a sparkle.
But then she shook her head, removing my hand from her face. "I can't conceive life; they took that away from me when I became this; no potion, no enchantment can reverse it; many have tried, only to end in disappointment and madness."
'Not being able to have children?' That did not impede being with her; "having children is the least of it; we will look for an option; something can be done; I have the tools; it is not too late to reverse whatever they have done to you."
Valka smiled warmly at me, looking towards the big dome, where the growls and sounds of the wyverns could be heard. "I once knew someone who thought he solved it; he studied for years about it, until one day, when he thought he was ready, the very sky opened, with a rain of lightning falling from it, leaving no trace of that person, with only words in the wind giving a small answer. The universal laws cannot be broken."
My face darkened as I heard about that since that very thing happened when I tried to bring Amanda back from the dead, with lightning coming from a hole in the sky, taking her body with them, with those very words in the air: 'Universal laws cannot be broken'.
"Yes, that's just how it was," Valka said, knowing she remembered that experience. "I saw his face of longing and sadness plastered on your face when that happened; it was his turn to watch helplessly and with no chance at all to do anything, as the body and the chances of bringing that good woman back vanished."
"I don't want to be the cause of you having to go through that again, so it is better to continue as we are; you need descendants, children who will continue with what you have built with effort, and I am not in those plans".
I didn't know what to say; everything she had said was right, but that didn't mean I would give up. It happened once with Amanda; I wouldn't let it happen again. "Even if it takes all my life, you will have the family and the life you always deserved, and all your sisters too; you have my promise."
"I will trust you, My King. Now, let's get to work." Valka finished the theme, walking towards a special room. The room was made with Bedrock blocks, the most durable material in Minecraft and the world.
Why was that room made with that material? Because I was about to go to the End, that dimension where the Enderdragon lived, besides being the place where all the Enderman came from.
'Here we go' I thought, while I made signs to Valka, to then close the room with Bedrock blocks, being alone inside the room, seeing into it thanks to the lanterns hanging on the wall.
Seeing those Wyverns, the decision came to me to try to find answers on how to have a dragon. On the menu were dragon eggs, although after many attempts, said 'eggs' never hatched or yielded any results. No matter what I did, I ended up with many broken or shattered.
So I thought of the End, which I knew was inhabited by an Enderdragon, a mystical creature and the final boss of the game, which is why I was now making a portal to the End.
Green blocks with strange symbols on them in a pattern, blocks that were known as the End portal frame had a decorative blue-green top, with sides decorated in hollow, rounded rectangles of the same color as the top.
After making a 3X3 frame, I placed Ender's eyes on each of the blocks, and when I placed the last one, a strong wind came out of the center of the frame, at the same time that a pool was formed in its center, and then it became a dark black color, which absorbed the light emitted by the lanterns. Besides, many dots were seen on it, resembling a starry sky.
Without wasting time, I jumped towards the portal, and for two or three seconds, I saw nothing but darkness, until suddenly I felt that I stepped on land again, at the same time that my sight returned, allowing me to see something beautiful.
What looked like an island, floating in the middle of an infinite black sky, with countless floating islands in the sky, a dark sky, and millions of glowing dots, was beautiful.
"You shouldn't be here." I heard a voice from beyond the grave suddenly, freezing my blood and causing me to draw my sword. At the same time, I turned around and saw hundreds of thousands of Enderman.
The Enderman, beings I had never seen in person, were now in front of me, and I immediately lowered my gaze, fearing to provoke them and have them attack me, knowing that they did not like to be looked in the eyes.
'Don't bother with that; after all, we can't hurt you'. I heard their voices again as if they were all talking at the same time and together.
'They couldn't hurt me?' I thought, as my mind was working a thousand times trying to comprehend those words.
But hell, I was already in this place, and soon I might face a damn dragon from mythology, so taking courage, I raised my gaze, getting a good look at the Enderman, being maybe three meters tall, with delegated and extremely long legs and arms, with their bodies completely black, being only their violet eyes visible, along with that strange, but beautiful aura that surrounded them.
And once again, the Enderman began to speak. "Thousands of years waiting, still, and longing for freedom, that feeling of freedom from our obligations."
"Were they waiting for me?" I asked, confused by all this. Since this was not what I was expecting, I planned to ignore them and walk past them looking at the ground, not getting involved in a fight with them, and get to where the Enderdragon was.
"You? No, many have already arrived, and just as they arrive, they leave for the next; we don't think you are the exception unless you take away our obligation."
"Obligation?" I asked them, being now more confused than before, "Subdue the Enderdragon, that being we are compelled to watch over for eternity, and we will follow you faithfully, free of the shackles that keep us clinging to this place."
Or hell, with that being the case, well, after all, the Enderdragon was my target, and if that would win me over an Enderman army, why would I waste it? So without further ado, I watched as the Enderman smiled with their strange mouths, as they made a path for me.
"I hope I'm not going to my death."
Walking, I passed through the midst of hundreds of Enderman, who watched me from their lofty heights, as I came to a clearing, with eight imposing towers made of obsidian, with a strange glowing object on top.
But that was not what caught my attention; it was the dragon lying on a pile of blocks in the center of the towers.
The black dragon, with wings and violet eyes, rose from its slumber the moment I approached and got a good look at it. With four legs, large horns on its head and a size exceeding perhaps forty or thirty meters, the Enderdragon welcomed me into its realm.
