Ariz
After the dinner was concluded, the Randells departed and returned home, leaving me with the responsibility of preparing and organizing plans for their new home. One of the first tasks at hand was to select a suitable area to allocate to them. Upon careful examination of various maps, I finally identified a well-suited location that was conveniently close to the city, enabling them to commute to work easily every day. Additionally, the chosen area featured a river nearby which would be a bonus. Once the area was selected, I facilitated the process of registering the land under their name. The following morning, I promptly arrived at the Randells' residence and, accompanied by my aide, we ventured to the land to inspect and finalize their new location.
**********
The Randells, Ariz, Ariz's aide and a carriage arrived at the said destination, Aldin got out first to check out the area, there were still trees in the area. But that did not block their view of the river. Aldin went to check out the river.
"This place is great," Sylvia said loving the place immediately.
"It is," Lark said.
Aldin came running back.
"What do you think about it?"Sylvia asked Aldin.
"I love it," Aldin said.
"Good, since I already registered you as the land's owners," Ariz said.
"When can we start building?" Aldin asked excitedly.
"Now if you want," Sylvia said.
Aldin was excited to hear that and with one move a blade of water cut all the trees, light constructs caught the fallen trees and they were placed to the side, Aldin continued this until he had cleared a huge amount of land.
Using earth magic Aldin uprooted all the barks and again with earth magic flattened the land. Using earth magic he made the building's frame. He adjusted it several times until he was finally satisfied with it, then used more earth to cover it all, meanwhile, all the five adults were looking at Aldin in awe, he was doing work that would take several days for normal constructors in less than an hour, Ariz even forgot to give Aldin what he intended to as he was caught up in observing him.
Once Aldin was done he turned back to see his parents and the three others.
"How is it?" Aldin asked his parents excitedly.
"It is wonderful," Isabella said hugging her son tightly, her grip was tight enough that others would have had a difficult time breathing but it did not affect Aldin in any way.
Arix snapped out of his daze then and ran back into the carriage when he came back he had a few books in hand.
"I also had something else for Aldin," Ariz said and gave the books to Aldin.
Aldintook the books and read through them, he was intrigued at what he saw and sat down to read them, meanwhile, Sylvia, Lark and Ariz went inside to get a look at what Aldin had made, they were amazed when they walked in, the house was simply splendid.
Meanwhile, the aide and the carriage driver watched Aldin outside. They were tensed watching him. He got engulfed in his reading.
Aldin who was ready was amazed at what he was reading.
The book he was reading was about tricks constructors would use when building, it was the highest level Ariz could find and it contained several helpful insights, as he read them ideas formed in his head, and he also began applying knowledge that he had accumulated.
The three who had gotten into the building came out and found Aldin reading the books dedicatedly.
Suddenly Aldin stood up and went into the building, Lark took up the book Aldin was reading and looked at it, most of it did not make any sense to him and he just placed them together.
"I think we should go get our stuff," Lark said.
"Yeah, when we get back he will already be done so we can move in all our stuff," Sylvia said.
"Gale stay here with the kid, we will be back," Ariz said and they left leaving him there with Aldin.
Meanwhile was inside the house tinkering around and making adjustments. Once he was done, he had a temperature-regulated house, temperature-regulatable showers and tiles, the ground windows were also made of hardened light construct that had a built-in array and the lights were even automatic and his parent's bedroom was soundproof, Aldin did not even want to think of the sound they would make that he never heard.
Once he was done, he went outside where he found the count's advisor.
"Where did they go?" Aldin asked wishing to know where his parents had gone off to.
"They went back to the city to pack up their things," Gale said.
" Okay, Aldin said and nodded before heading around the building, he continued to clear the trees and once he was satisfied with the place he got back to the house but when he came back he found a giant lizard ready to attack Gale and shot in the head.
'I forgot about the beasts,' Aldin thought to himself.' I should probably deal with them before they become a nuisance.'
Aldin rose high in the sky and created a light construct on which he could sit. He sat down cross-legged and began to make an array around the compound and even beyond it, it took him a lot of time than when he was building one for the city since he wanted it to last longer than the one he built at the Ereel territory and also be much more complex and stronger. It was more improved to differentiate between beast and man and also protect those who wandered off from the compound and deal with all beasts that came close to the compound.
After completing the array, Aldin came down. A few moments later the others arrived back with all their items carried by Lark's light construct. They started taking things into the house, Aldin who was extremely strong was able to help around.
In very little time they had placed everything in the house.
Meanwhile, in the fourth tower, a letter arrived addressed to the tower master, It was from Ariz.
'Dear sir, I am thankful for the opportunity you have given me to…..' It began.
In the letter, Ariz was asking for Alastor to send Aldin some instructors on runes, magic of all his attributes, array and alchemy. Ariz had asked for books on the said aspects to be provided, and to also have a deep explanation.
'I'll send him books as soon as possible,' Alastor thought to himself and immediately got up from his seat and went to the library, this time without even bothering to disguise himself.
As he walked through the library shelves he went on adding book by book until he was satisfied, on his way back, he was able to see to the regulars' class but they did not have an instructor in the room with them. He called for a guard and instructed them to deliver the books to Aldin and went inside.
As he walked inside they all turned to look at him tensed.
"Continue with what you were doing and don't let me bother you, I am just here to observe how you are all doing," Alastor said and started walking around the room observing the students, the students were slightly tensed but they slowly began easing up to him though not fully.
Alastor went around giving them advice to help them improve.
'These kids are great!' Alastor thought to himself as he left.
Back in Aden, they had finally moved in everything into their new house.
Aldin had gone into his room accumulating after informing his parent in advance. However he had a lot on his mind, after what he had read from the books Ariz had gotten him he realised that there was more to his magic than he thought, more he could do with it than he thought.
After a few hours of accumulation, Aldin sat back in his new bed and looked out the window to the stars, walking out to the balcony he sat down to watch the night sky, it was so dazzling, the twinkling stars drew him. In the Aldin ended up sleeping on the ground of his balcony.
He woke up the following morning alright, and not feeling sore in any way. Since he now had a hot shower in his room rather than the huge tub they used to bath in the back of their former house, he jumped in and had his first experience with a hot shower, he stayed in there too long that his mother had to come for him so that he could have his breakfast.
Aldin came down in a very good mood and sat down by his parents for breakfast.
"What got you in such a good mood," Lark asked.
"Nothing much," Aldin said still with a smirk on his face.
Suddenly he heard a knock on the door.
