"I mean, your cooking is incomparable! I've never tasted anything so delicious in my life. I just want to keep eating it forever, wuhhhh," he exclaimed with delight, taking another slice.
"Thank you," Kyra blushed, her cheeks turning a rosy shade as she too began to eat.
"My mom sent some clothes for you. You can change into them, and then we can go on a tour of the tribe and the market," he suggested after finishing his meal.
"Lucas, I want to express my gratitude to you," she said, smiling warmly at him. Wolf grinned happily in response.
'Why thank me? Just kiss me already,' he thought to himself, but when he looked at her face, the words couldn't escape his lips.
"Go change and get ready. I'll wait for you," he said, quickly making his way to the kitchen for a drink of water.
Having Kyra with him made Lucas happy. He no longer felt lonely.
He didn't like being alone, but he also had a fear lingering within him—what if Kyra left him for her world? He wondered how different her world was from his own.
Lost in his thoughts, he walked back and settled on his sofa, deep in contemplation.
As soon as he heard footsteps, he raised his head, his eyes widening into heart shapes.
Thump-thump
Thump-thump
Thump-thump
His heart started to beat rapidly as he saw Kyra approaching, dressed in short furry clothes that clung to her curves, accentuating her fair, thick thighs. The off-shoulder design showcased her enchanting figure and her round shoulders, which contrasted beautifully with her red hair. She looked absolutely stunning.
Lucas blinked his eyes, taking in her appearance from head to toe.
"Caution," he managed to say, his eyes wide with awe.
"What's the caution for?" Kyra raised her eyebrows and continued walking towards him.
"Approaching you may result in heart theft charges," he finished the sentence, causing Kyra to stop in her tracks, blushing madly.
This wolf... Kyra thought to herself, wanting to divert the conversation and avoid his flirty remarks.
"Can we go already? I'm really excited," she said, hoping to change the topic.
"Yeah, let's go quickly, or your beauty will create crime scenes everywhere we go," he said, winking playfully.
"LUCAS!" Kyra exclaimed, feeling a mix of amusement and a slight urge to playfully scold and beat him.
Lucas took a bundle of cloth bags from the sofa and gave them to her.
Perplexed, she looked at the bundle of cloth bag Lucas had given her to hold. "What's this?" she asked.
"Money," he replied with a grin.
"Oh, so this is the currency in your world?" she asked, weighing the coins in her hand.
"Yep, we use coins to buy things," he explained, opening the bundle to reveal more coins. They were silver and had a rough texture.
"Can we go now? We don't want to be late," he urged, transforming into his wolf form. Kyra sat on his back, tightly holding onto the coins.
Lucas ran swiftly, and Kyra admired the picturesque scenery around her. The world appeared breathtakingly beautiful, with charming wooden cottages and a natural environment filled with tall, lush trees and vibrant flowers.
As they crossed a large bridge, the gentle breeze caressed Kyra's face, intensifying her sense of wonder. Looking down, she saw a deep, crystal-clear river flowing underneath.
Little did she know that the more beautiful things appeared, the more dangerous they could be.
