"If you don't want to be eaten, find shelter for us in your tribe," Lucas said, making his tone more menacing to scare the rabbits.
"No way," their eyes widened.
"What did you say?" Lucas asked, smiling as he bared his teeth again.
"I-I mean, our tribe doesn't have proper housing. We live in groups in small caves, and it's not suitable for you," one of the rabbits spoke. His name was David. Only then did he notice the female behind Lucas.
With fair, milky skin, red hair wet and stuck to her cheek, and bluish-hazel eyes that looked unreal, he blushed.
"I don't believe you. Find us shelter, or else my female will eat roasted rabbits in your humble house," Lucas said, smirking as he leaned toward the scared rabbits, who moved back.
"I i-i know a p-lace," another rabbit, named Freddy, spoke with a scared expression.
David looked at Freddy with a questioning look.
"T-here's an a-bandoned castle n-earby," Freddy stuttered anxiously, biting his lip. "No o-ne li-ves there, I swear. It's ju-st a short di-stance away." Hearing This David's eyes widened.
"Are you telling the truth? If I find out you're lying, be ready to become a roasted rabbit," Lucas threatened.
"I swear," Freddy said, his eyes widening. "I can't risk my life, really..." but I can risk yours, hehe...
"Humph!" Lucas made a mocking face as he took Kyra's hand. "Let's go, Kyra. If we can't find that castle, I might just have to roast some rabbits for dinner."
"Yeah," Kyra blushed as she replied.
Why did she love everything this wolf did? No doubt anyone could love this wolf who dared to love and make your day memorable and brighten it with his words and actions.
"Is it nearby, right?" Lucas asked as he walked with Kyra. Since the rabbit told them it was only a short distance away, they decided to walk.
"I'm sorry, Kyra. Because of me, you have to be stuck with me in this problem," Lucas said in a low tone.
Kyra squeezed Lucas's hand reassuringly. "Don't blame yourself, Lucas. You've been nothing but kind to me, and I don't think any of this is your fault," she said, her voice filled with sincerity.
"Really?" Lucas's eyes sparkled with relief.
"Absolutely," Kyra replied, a warm smile spreading across her face. Lucas looked down at their hands, interlocking his fingers with hers, and smiled back.
As they approached the castle, their figures appeared blurry under the rain. From a distance, they looked like a beautiful pair: Lucas with his silver hair and tall stature, and Kyra with her long red hair, their contrasting figures blending perfectly together.
Finally, they had found the castle they had been searching for
