Time has flown as Liam and his new companion tried to recover from their injuries.
Liam's wound has finally completely healed and has recovered his full mobility. Looking over Lurue has been irritating but nothing to fight about as her wound is close to closing and today is the day Liam will begin his plan.
As the next day began and the sun rose Liam was quick to wake early in the day, Taking a slab of bear meat he threw it on their makeshift campfire built outside the cave. With little worry of the smoke attracting anyone Liam with his guard relaxed waited for the meat to char.
Lurue woke to the smell of meat burning and opened her eyes to see Liam sitting down in front of her.
"Here" he said as he held out a piece of charred meat on a leaf.
Grabbing it politely Lurue quickly ate the meal as if she was afraid it would disappear from her hands.
With a brow raised up Liam watched this behavior and ignored any deeper meaning associated within it.
"Lurue I have to ask you for something" Liam called to her
"Ah, of course you can ask me"
"What is it" Lurue wondered apprehensively.
"I need you to command animals to find poisonous plants"
"What do you have planned" Lurue asked
"We will use the animals to eat wild plants and if they die we know they are poisonous and if they live the plant is not poisonous"
"I will wait until you heal but after you are able to move without being impaired then we will start" Liam told her.
"Okay, Thank you Liam" She responded as Liam walked away
"Don't thank me" Liam whispered under his breath as he headed to the dark tunnel the bear originated from.
Ducking under the ceiling of the tunnel he descended into darkness curious of what rested in the darkness. Walking down the tunnel Liam made his way towards the bottom, and on his way he saw an eerie glow coming from the bottom.
Resting his hand on his sheathed sword he precariously walked down and reached a landing flattening out the slope to form a spaced cavern.
The bear had obviously made a home here and claw marks riddled the walls. Investing them closer proved to be fruitful as the eye stumbled upon hieroglyphic-like images engraved in the walls.
Looking closely on the rock walls writing could be observed.
"I —---- Vow to return the life give to me by B—---e"
Trying to make out either name on the wall was virtually impossible due to claw marks running through the walls.
"We allow will be his people, The legion will stand alone on this earth"
Pictured on the wall was a dark gauntlet surrounded by shadowy figures beside the Vow.
Liam himself after reading the writing on the wall was burning with anger. In spite of this, Liam's hand crashed hard in the wall and crumbled all of the writing. Feeling the room shake and rocks began to fall from the ceiling Liam's face distorted in fear. Sprinting back up the slope Liam's feet felt the ground vibrating under him.
Running towards the top Liam was pelted with rocks of varying sizes and ignored the stinging pain.
"What happened Liam" Lurue;s voice rang off the walls.
"Just move" Liam angrily replied nearing the exit of the tunnel.
Pushing off the ground his feet flew into the air pushing his body forward as he dived forward narrowly avoiding the cave in.
"What h—--" Lurue began
"I'll tell you after I rest" Liam cut off before picking himself up off the ground before walking to his corner and passing out due to his mental and psychical exhaustion.
