Chapter 32 - Chapter 32 – Video games and books

Hoshi's POV

Today is Saturday, and it was a fun day for me. The reason why: video games, journaling, and books. And while Mariya was at work, I was alone at home doing things myself. From 8:23 a.m. to 9:12 a.m., after washing the dishes, I went to the living room to play some video games.

There I grabbed the controller and turned on the console. And then, I inserted a game, known as Student Life Simulator, one of my favorite video games, into the slot, and it does its job to show it on the TV screen. The game was awesome, and the graphics and mechanics are very good and functions, as well as some nice details, too. This game is about a high school student whose name, gender, looks, and personality can be customizable in your own choice. Mine is a black-haired boy named Yama Paul. He has green eyes, and his personality is described as joyful, but cautiously rough and sensitive at the same time. And as of now, the date in the game is week 3, day 2. The game also can be set to either middle school, high school, or college/university, making the game more flexible and versatile. This game is unlike the ones you can install on your smartphone. And as I was playing, I went in my school tasks in the game, completing them in time and it even had multiple choice exams that you can answer as a task. It's awesome, isn't?

After playing, I put away my controller and turned off the console and TV, before getting some books from the bookshelf to read a few pages. My favorite genres are psychology, physics, Russian literature, and poetry. Call me weird or strange, but I don't care. As I read, I took some short notes in a notebook about the contents of the chapters I was currently reading. The reading took an average of 20-24 minutes.

After that, I put them back and went to my bedroom to do some journaling. There I grabbed my journal, opened it, and flipped to an empty, blank page, before grabbing a blue pen and clicking it to open the tip. I then began writing about my day and what happened yesterday and a few days ago. My writing is nice and eligible, and the words flow from my mind to the paper via the pen like a river. Kuro and I are in synchronizing mode to make this journal entry interesting. Once that was done, I clicked the pen to close the tip, closed my journal, and put both of them back on one side of my desk.

By lunchtime, I reheated some leftover breakfast food instead of cooking new ones so I would not waste good food. After that, I sat down and put my plate of leftover fried hotdog, egg, and some yellow Java rice on the table alongside a glass of milk and a glass of water. I also added some sliced cucumbers as a palate cleanser.

"Thanks for the food." I did a prayer gesture to show my gratitude, before grabbing my metal reusable chopsticks to eat them.

As usual, my food is always good despite being reheated, and I savored every bite and taste.
