Chapter 36
Narrator Pov:
"What did you just say?," A man inside the cell asks the guard.
"A person under the name Jake Wolf, and their sister Emma Wolf, have entered Berk high. They share uncanny characteristics to Jake and Emma, and former students Emma and Jackson. We think they might be family, but we are uncertain," The guard informs the prisoner.
"How do you know it isn't that bastard nor his sister in the first place?," The man asks back irritably.
"Well, for one, they are seven foot 6 giants and are both women," The guard responds.
"Then I don't see why you are bothering me about this, I don't pay you for this. Why are you even telling me in the first place!," The prisoner yells back.
"Alexander Benjamin, supposed creator of Fortnite. Has had many under the table dealings and 100 of his people went missing all at once. Under thorough investigation they were found dead sent to kill a single man who had protected a child. That child had been shot point blank in the back by you, no?," A person asks coming up to the cell Alexander is in.
"Who the hell are you?," Alexander asks warrily.
"Just someone who has a grudge against Jackson Olaf and his family. We got a message by the helicopters tailing him. His back had been burnt, but they had managed to see a faint scar of a gunshot from point blank range. You may call me Eugene Lionheart," Eugene says, coming up to the cell. He had grown and was now 6 foot, though down below he was still unbearably small, around 1 inch soft, 3 inch hard max?
"Ok, so your telling me that rat bastard is still alive. He is harder to kill than a cockroach," Alexander exclaimed.
"Yes, indeed, he blew up the house he was staying in when escaping. It killed everyone we sent and left nothing, not even the house, only ash. It also completely demolished the tunnels they used to escape. He is also an expert carpenter, gunman, and more from reports. He took out three helicopters with a handgun while falling into a forest to dense to enter," Eugene replied.
"I still don't get why you need my help," Alexander replied.
"You have a lot of resources, and Jake killed 98% of my men when he blew up the house. Somehow he didn't damage any other nearby houses as well. Currently they are attending Berk high as was said. You have a lot more resources than me currently and I am sure you could get someone into that school and cause an accident," Eugene replied.
"Indeed I can, and what is in it for me, other than getting rid of that bastard?," Alexander asks.
"Well, we both know you are the real bastard here, hence why you are in here. You will be given your old position back, how about that?," Eugene asks.
"Deal, Mr. Lionheart," Alexander agrees.
Someplace else
"Sir, you said you wanted a list of new students going to berk high this year," Phlegma informs Stoick the Vast Haddock.
"Yes, I did, didn't I. What do you have for me," He replies as he is handed a list.
"There are a few specialties this year. We have the princess from the kingdom of Liones, a person from a far off shogunate and is the Hime of that nation, Charlie Firewest. Those are the biggest players that we have so security has been strengthened at the high school," Phlegma informs Stoick as he reads.
"Still no sign?," He asks.
"We have been searching as much as possible since their disappearance. But Jake ended up being a bit to good with computers. We have not been able to find or even track them for that matter. As you know, soon after the incident, Eugene disappeared, Thorfinn took your son and his Fiancée into hiding," Phlegma starts.
"The other kids vanished into the mountains where Jake and Hiccup built something. Hunter was reported dead, shot multiple times while in the water. 3 Helicopters were found shot down by a sky diver with a burnt back. The house was turned to ash, the tunnels destroyed, and Alvin was found dead at the cove," Phlegma finishes.
"Yes, I know all that, anything I should know about?," Stoick asked.
"Actually, yes, one of your codes was put in this morning at unspeakable hours of the day. We got them from the patrol boats you had set up," Phlegma responds.
"One of my codes?! But there are only a few who have those codes. Myself, Gobber, Spitelout, Samuel, and... Thorfinn?," Stoick questions.
"That may be the case. They didn't see anyone else on board the wooden ship. But they had been coming in towards a cliff a few miles up the coast where Hunter had been shot," Phlegma responds.
"It could just be a coincidence, but what if Hunter is not dead?," Stoick asks.
"That could be the case, his body was never found," Phlegma answers.
"Yes, and there are some interesting names on here. Look at recruiting them into service Phlegma. Their backgrounds are solid and due to their age they could be undercover, and they can also search for the kids without risk of being found out," Stoick responds.
"Who?," Phlegma asks.
"Sir Ulgerthrope Rhaelpe, the son of a noble from a far off country, Elmia Visercherous his fiancee, Haydon Fort, a loner of sorts, Shtuffnut Ohmsffnut Elfffnut and Cackleffnut Grangruffnut Elfffnut who are apparently lunatics and experts in explosives, Harper Surval who is a friend of the following two, Jake and Emma Wolf from Eyja Nott, all are survival experts, and then Freya Fearless and Fury Vast," Stoick informs Phlegma as she writes the names down.
"There are some others, but I know their parents so I would need to ask them first. Dagur the Deranged, and Heather, children of Oswald the Agreeable and heir to Berserker and Hysteria somehow. Camicazi, heir to the bog burglars. Mala and her bodyguard Throk, she is set to be the next Queen of the Defenders of the Wing," Stoick finishes.
"On another note sir, Viggo Grimborn, head of Hunter Island and his chief of security, Ryker Killian Grimborn. They are complaining and are wanting to know what happened to their nephew and niece," Phlegma informed Stoick.
"Then why are they complaining to me. They also do Bounty Hunting other than getting food for the entire archipelago. Plus, they are only brothers, who could it be?," Stoick complains.
"They had a sister who is still missing. We did some research and their children were on Berk when the pandemic hit. Their children's father was, Alvin the treacherous," Phlegma reveals.
"Damnit, Mia and Lucas," Stoick replies. One had died to Eugene, and the other had gone missing with his son.
