Chapter 3 - IN BED WITH YOU

AMIRA~

"Where do you think you're going?"

His deep voice sounded as he held me firmly to himself.

"T-to my room..." I stuttered in fear.

"No, You will sleep here, beside me, on that bed" he spoke with impact on every word and I could only imagine myself on bed with him, only the thoughts made my heart skip beats, I might just pass out in the middle of my sleep.

"Change your clothes and go to bed, now!"

He commanded but still held me firmly for some seconds before releasing me.

I quickly moved away from him, taking deep breaths of fresh air because earlier I had felt as though I was being suffocated.

Casting an unnoticeable hateful glare at him, I hastily walked into the closet, where his eyes wouldn't see me.

I knew I could not spend a night with this man, first of all, I did not know him from any where, he was a total stranger to me.

Secondly, my heart belonged to someone else. I loved Jake and I knew he loved me too. Oh, He would be so worried right now.

"My Jake... " I called, not even realizing that I was crying already. I missed him so much.

How could my parents do this to me? How could they push me into the hands of a man I didn't know.

A man who frightened me to my bones, a man who gave me chills with just a stare, and those eyes, where they yellow or orange in colour? Maybe a mixture?

I feared those eyes because they constantly appeared in my dreams after I encountered that beast in the forest. In short, after I encountered that beast, my life changed.

Most times I would feel a presence, almost like a spirit was watching me, I told my parents but they thought I was speaking gibberish.

Weird things happened, I would feel like time stopped for a while or most times I would fall into a trans where those familiar eyes would haunt me.

Now, I have been married off to a man with those eyes to haunt me for the rest of my life.

"What is all this?, Is this perhaps fate? Why is mine so cruel to me?" I sobbed for a while before changing up into dry clothes.

The sound of rustling water sounded from the washroom, he was in there. I thought it was good because I would fall asleep before he will be out and even if I did not, I would pretend to be asleep.

I quickly climbed unto to bed and lay on the very edge of the bed. I could smell his scent in the mattress. But this scent though, it was so heavenly and soothing that I didn't even know when I fell asleep.

ZORIEL~

Standing still in the pool of water, I could hear my angel crying and lamenting. My blood boiled for who ever was responsible, the only issue was that I was the one responsible for those tears. It almost made me hate myself.

I submerged myself inside the water so that I wouldn't hear her anymore but still, I could hear her mention Jake, who was Jake and why does she love him?

Why does she hate me?

A few minutes later, I came out of the washroom, water dripping down to the floor.

My eyes caught a figure on the bed, she had already fallen asleep.

I quickly dried up and dressed up in loose pants before I would join her.

Amira lay on the edge of the bed, she was almost falling off all because she wanted to stay as far away from me as possible but I wasn't going to allow that.

I got in the bed and gently pulled her to myself, making her head and hands rest on my chest while I crossed my arm around her, watching as she slept peacefully. If only she would be this calm around me.

Gently pushing away her hair from her face, I leaned down and kissed her forehead head, I just couldn't have enough of her.

Sunnyshire Kingdom

Lord Wesley's Manor.

JAKE~

I sat dejectedly on my bed, eyes staring into space. I was too hurt to even think positively at the moment. All I could think of was 'How could they?!'

They married off my Amira to a good for nothing bastard!

Amira is my woman and my woman she will be, no one, not even the devil can take her away from me.

Who ever you are I don't care, but you have my woman so get ready because I won't let it slide!

My hands squeezed tightly in anger and the champagne flute which I held unto shattered into pieces.

"Master!, Dinner is ready" a maid came in and bowed.

I stared at her for a while, though all I could think of was Amira and her whereabouts.

"Clean this up!" I ordered her before walking out of my room.

Sitting at dinner, everyone seemed to be unbotherd about the event that happened earlier today, not even my parents.

The old couple did not care that my bride had been married off, they kept talking and chattering amidst annoying laughters.

I felt very annoyed and irritated.

I made up my mind that I would act on my own accord, where ever Amira was, I would find her and who ever is the unfortunate soul that married her would taste my wrath!

AMIRA~

I felt chilly wind blow across my skin, making me shiver in my sleep. I subconsciously searched for warmth and the only source of warmth was just beside me so I drew closer.

My eyes slowly fluttered open and only then did I remember that I wasn't at my father's castle anymore but in my husband's castle and at the moment, I was literally in his embrace as his arms were firmly fixed around me.

Oh no, I had to move away from him as soon as possible, I had never been this close with any man, even Jake and I hadn't been this close, cuddling up while we slept.

We had not even slept together on one bed so imagine how uncomfortable I was.

My heart threatened to pick up pace but I didn't allow it because I did not want to wake him up even by a mistake, but what if he was awake?

I slowly lifted my head to check and thankfully his eyes were closed, I let out a breath of relief while calculating my next move.

Then, for some reason I remembered the words of my mother. Her lectures about what happened on wedding nights and what to do after the 'activity'.

'But nothing happened!' I wondered. Though I was thankful, I also wondered why nothing happened. I looked up again at the man who was now my husband.

His long hair covered part of his face, leaving the other part exposed to my view. His flawless skin glowed under the night light, adding more beauty to his unrealistic beauty.

This man was just too perfect to be real and that was another reason why he frightened me.

Gradually, I wiggled myself out of his embrace, going as gentle as I can and when I looked up to make sure he was still asleep, my heart literally jumped out of my mouth because our eyes locked and his arms tightened around me, drawing me even more closer.
