I somehow need to get this man's signature out of him. Or maybe find something with his signature on it. Maybe I missed something in his bags? Looking through them, no there is nothing to find. unfortunate.
So I resort back to tactical intimidation again. I give him a blank piece of paper and aske him to sign his name at the bottom. After he did so, I inflicted some tactical injuries and gave him a second piece of paper. I tell him "If you dare lie again, next time the pain will last for five more minutes.". After that, he wrote down a different signature on the paper.
Now I have two different signatures and I don't know which one is correct and which one is wrong. *sigh I suppose there isn't anything my great self can do for now. Even so, I don't think these simpletons will even move their tiny little brains and consider identity theft a possibility.
I suppose the only other way to find my extremely great self out, would be some kind of magic shenanigans, like looking into my soul and finding that my magic affinity is different from Ustosis' or some such uncontrollable scenario. but still, I doubt anyone cares that much about Ustos to look into it.
I bandage and disinfect Ustosis' wounds, which were all definitely because of the bullies, so he doesn't croak on me and the academy doesn't get automatically alerted of his death, and finally go to bed, on a bed that actually deserves me.
Waking up the next day I console the class schedule for directions, the first on the schedule is the cafeteria, perfect maybe I'll actually eat normal food for once in this accursed world. Thinking about it I should bring back some food for Ustos back here. *sigh I do so much for my captives, the least they can do is tell the truth.
Going outside, mask off and my green first-year robes on, my masterful self starts imitating Ustosis' walking style, a bit hunched over, constantly moving eyes around like I'm looking for a ghost and a generally unconfident look to the best of my exquisite abilities.
Walking to the cafeteria, most of the people I see just give me disgusted or indifferent expressions, which is very good because It means my great self is as good at executing plans as he is making them.
Walking into the cafeteria, I tilt my head down even more and get my breakfast, it contains bread, weird meat, and blue eggs, which I suppose is what you could expect from another world.
Finding a table that wasn't occupied by anyone, I sit down and start eating. The weird mystery meat tasting weird but relatively good, and the blue eggs weren't half bad either.
As I'm about to get up, dimwits 1 through 3 approach my table, I sigh inwardly but outwardly I tilt my head down. Dimwit number 2 says "Hay Ustos, let's meet up where were we took you last time ok?".
"Aaa…".
He leans in closer and whispers "And you better be there, or else…". I die a little inside from this dimwit's attempt at intimidation. But in the end, I do what Ustos would do, I act scared and nod.
"Good!" he says and leaves, the other dimwits following after him. Truly a world of barbaric simpletons with no original thoughts.
I return to my dorm and feed Ustos the food, at least he doesn't struggle like my previous captive. Well, she probably disliked the commoner food I was showing down her throat but oh well she's probably dead by now.
Speaking of the captive I haven't heard anyone talking about a missing noble which is probably about right because she should have only died about 7 hours ago.
I wonder if the mercenary escaped, probably not, teleportation doesn't really seem to be that big of a deal for the wizards, they probably teleported straight into the inn after she died and the neckless returned her location.
Next on my schedule is, magic theory. Picking up my writing supplies I go outside again, I head to the main building, where the lessons are taught. Keeping my head down I head into the classroom and take one of the back-row seats.
I wait for the class to begin quietly, like I imagine Ustos would probably do. The students that are in the class occasionally sneer and frown at me in disgust whispering amongst themselves, I don't take their looks seriously, for I know that my beauty even in a different identity is lost on these true dimwits.
As the lesson begins, marked by the clocktower giving off a chime, I find it convenient that the seats around me are vacant, so I don't have to sit beside these lower creatures.
The instructor walks in, he is a middle-aged man dressed in blue wizard robes.
