"Melissa...?" Damien called to her with a slight note of surprise in his voice.
There she was, sitting elegantly atop a school desk, one long, seductive leg crossed over the other. Her eyes looked up at him with an expression somewhere between gentle and captivating, while her lips smiled behind a folding fan.
"Nice to see you again, Damien."
Damien was convinced that he had advanced at considerable speed, and it would be strange if anyone had caught up with him. In fact, he couldn't remember anyone overtaking him, and it was practically impossible not to notice someone in that narrow hallway. Not to mention that even the classroom was locked from the outside.
So how the hell did Melissa get there before him?
"Why are you here?" asked Damien with more caution.
