They arrived at the forest Kelvin had spoken of, the sun filtering through the leaves to create a mosaic of light on the ground. Climbing down from their horses, they tied them to different trees and entered the forest, bows and arrows in hand, quivers full of potential.
As they stepped into the emerald embrace of the trees, Alexandra was the first to catch sight of a plump rabbit darting through the underbrush. Before she could raise her bow, however, Herrera, quick as a flash, released her arrow and struck it down.
"Woah! That was quite fast, sister," Samuel chuckled, praising her skill.
As they ventured deeper into the forest, the two brothers and the twins caught sight of more rabbits, and Samuel skillfully shot down a deer, its majestic form collapsing onto the forest floor.
"That deer is really big! How did you—" Kelvin gasped, looking at the almost breathless animal, awe evident in his eyes.
