"Really...?" he drawled, his voice deep and slow. Then, without warning, he caught her wrist, pulling her onto his lap. Alexandra gasped as she found herself sitting on his right thigh, her legs tucked between his. His grip was firm yet gentle, and her body flushed with an unfamiliar heat.
