"Don't worry everyone Al had restrained his strength. By his expression I believe Ben had been a real jerk...." This announcement from Williams made everyone stare at him in wonder and disbelief.
"When did the boys started believing in each other in such and unquestionable way?" all the adults started to wonder the same thing. Helen and Elizabeth even looked at John who had a shocked expression on his face thing about hiself and Alec.
Al....., Chris left his words hanging at mid sentence itself wantingto know what Ben had done for him to react like that. Dave also was staring at Ben, he also knew that Alan would not do something unless he was greatly pissed off by Ben...
Ben slowly stood up, holding his stomach and within a few seconds spat out a mouthful of dark green blood and after taking a couple of breath a mouthful of red blood following it. He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and looked ar Alan with a defet in his expression.
"You bastard. Do you want to die just like your father, rotten away from inside? Didn't you know that black spotted Hyena's bite fester's your internal organs and tissues? Why did you travel alone from Emberfall?"
Alan walking to him seething in anger and slapped him hard making his jaw almost dislocate.
Then he pulled him to a tight hug. "You..... you stupid..... basterd...." Alan choked with tears. Ben hugged him back tightly started crying loudly. He cried the way he did, when his horse made him to cry in the forest 5 nights ago.
Helen, Elizabeth and Jean after learning the truth about Alan's anger started sobbing. John, James, the boys, maids and even the guards nearby were in tears and in awe of the ability of Alan to heal Hyenas festering bite.
Once Ben calmed down. John asked in a doubtful tone. "Ben, did you ate anything?"
I.... I haven't had anything for 5 days, I think." Ben said slowly.
"Al, my horse. He.... he was trying to save me a couple of times when the Hyena's came from behind me!!" Ben said in an agonizing tone.
You fools, Alan gerumbled, went to the horse, glaring at it. "Behave yourself orelse you will also get to eat what he got." Alan jutted his thumb towards Ben. at which the horse snorted. "Stubborn fool..." Alan mumbled and took hold of its head by its reign and started channeling his mana.
After a few seconds he opend his eyes in shock. What!!!? Alan pulled the hores and turned its right side towards the light source coming from the entrance making everyone gasp in shock.
A chunk of its flesh was missing from its flank and it even had started festering.
No.... no.... Ben shook his head in disbelief. Fresh tears started streaming from his eyes. "Al please, please do something." Ben fell to his knees. Lady Helen, please..... Anyone please do something." He started panicking and begging. He knew how much his horse cared for him and even got into this situation because of his stupidity. Unknowingly he had also started to develop the same bonding of love and trust with his horse.
Alan took a deep breath. "Wil get me a big jug of water. Now." After saying that he pushed out his mana with such force that everyone around him staggered a few steps back with the force of it. Ben who was kneeling and crying was thrown to the ground unceremoniously. The horse shivered visibly.
William ran inside without a second thought and broughr back two jugs of water.
The horse started whinnying and tried to get free from Alan's grip. But infront tof Alan's raw strength it struggled to no avail.
Everyone was holding their breath in anticipation. After a few min, Alan staggered back, completely exhausted. The horse stagger and fell to its side panting heavy.
