William rubbed the middle of his forehead and asked as if he was wronged, "What was that for, master?"
"For not speaking properly," Lilly said. "Now tell me the main reason you wanna save the town? Cuz I doubt you would risk your life for strangers, or would you?"
"Well, I won't be able to sleep properly, knowing that because of me, many innocents lost their lives," Willam responded in a shy tone. "Besides, it is my home now, so how can I abandon it so casually?"
"Oh! You wanna risk your life for people who actually bullied you so much?" Lilly asked.
"Master, I was actually treated far better here in this town. Haven't you wondered how I survived here so long even though I'm so weak?" Willam asked while chuckling.
