Lilly continued to pay William's back as they walked towards the inn. She didn't say anything and just silently listened.
With a dry laugh, William wiped his face with his sleeves and said, "Sorry for all the ranting."
"It's fine, as I said before. You're my disciple, never forget that. And as a master, I have the responsibility to hear everything you say." Lilly smiled and said.
"Thank you, Master," Willam said, "Then I guess you're curious as to why Gramps still is nice to me?"
"I can actually guess that," Lilly said, "Just from one meeting, I can tell he's a kind and reasonable man. He won't blame you for something like that."
"You're right," William nodded and said, "Yes, even after all this happened he was still kind to me and even helped me. As you can see, even now he's worried about my safety instead of his own."
