Chapter 36 - The Old Man

Lilly helped William in walking as she looked around. She then answered his previous question, "It's actually a long-ass explanation, so I'm not going into details."

"Just know that killing intent affects the blood flow of a person's body, which then gives them numbness all over the body; that's also how your brain can be affected due to the blood flow there." Lilly tried her best to explain.

"When you take killing intent for a long time, you'll die for obvious reasons while in a short amount of time, you only get numbness and dizziness." 

She then looked at him and said, "You were close to touching the mid-stage where a person is paralyzed. But because of my interference, you didn't go completely into paralysis."

"Just some rest, and you'll be fine." She patted him and said.

Willam nodded and tried to understand as much as he could. He didn't understand most of it, but he remembered it clearly so that it could be helpful in the future.
