𝕮𝖍𝖆𝖕𝖙𝖊𝖗 𝟑9: I can invest my points
Pfffff! Hgggghiiihh!!!
The bus screamed a loud tone as it began to move slowly down the road. It took a while before it finally forced back into speeding action.
It was a public bus which he would have never ventured into if not for the upcoming darkness.
Yes it was already getting quite dim outside. Hex peeked his eyes out the bus to survey the ending red lights of the sun as it crawled out of everyone's veiw.
Hex would have preferably trekked home to save up the money, but with the amount of hits he took from the Titan. Considering also how late it had gotten, this would be a fufilling way to end his day.
Oh definitely yes. He had a lot of change to spare now.
Hex growled sharply at the thought of what Mizumi spoke to him after they exited the gap.
She was transferring the payment to everyone and when it was his turn she sent two hundred thousand coins to him. She spoke politely apologizing for lying it was fifty thousand.
'That stupid lady is too annoying!'
Hex growled fixing his hands into his pockets.
At least now, he didn't have to worry anymore about his bills and so on.
Finally after a long poverty stricken saga, Hex could finally reclined his back to the soft cushioned chair of the bus and let out a refreshed huff of air.
This made his appearance known to some of the people in this public transport. But Hex didn't care about that.
'Now that I am no longer in a pressing gathering, Phantom display the new stuff.'

Hex racked his brain for a while contemplating on what to pick out first. The Weaponry was new and in need of the most attention. However the Store could wait.
'Display the weaponry.'
Hex waited diligently for the next notification to appear. It took it's time but soon enough revealed itself.
{Phantom processing}
{Weaponry}
*Spade daggers Lv. 32/50
*Lightning Dragon blade Lv. 88/200
Hex studied his weapon attributes. His weapons simply leveled up like he did. By killing and absorbing Cursed ones cores.
According to what he saw, the spade daggers were reaching their peak, slowly but surely. However the lightning dragon blade was still far from being there.
'Yes all I have to do is build on the lightning blade to be my strongest weapon....'
"Huggh?" Hex gasped at the next notification.
{Would you like to see weapon attributes}
Hex paused, his weapons attributes. Was the Phantom upgrading itself again?
The sudden changes of the Phantom made Hex weary of it. But somewhat, this was to his advantage, so there was nothing much for him to worry about.
'Display it.'
Name: Spade daggers
Level: 32
Effects: speed supportive, bleeding increase.
Status: needs more upgrade
Evolution: close
The Spade dagger was rather a weaker, more primitive weapon to the lightning dragon blade. But Hex still found a sense of use to it.
Stabbing was much quicker than slashing. In a case of him battling a whole company of Earth dwellers, or probably orcs. Small beings, the size of humans or lesser. A dagger would prove more useful than a sword.
He could have stabbed twenty in the throat with his dagger. Given the same time the durability of a sword would have taken only twelve. His speed is also taken to consideration.
But when battling a large beast, like a dragon or Titan, Mammun or whatsoever. He needed a sword that could drive deeper into the flesh of this creature. Whereas both weapons were useful.
Name: Lightning dragon blade
Level: 88
Effects: Poison, armour nullification, saves up Mana for deadly hits, speed supportive, lightning energy.
Status: needs more upgrade
Evolution: close
Hex's eyes glimmered again In discovery. Just like he saw from the Spade daggers, there was an Evolution attribute at the bottom. But for what?
{Evolution: When a Weapon is upgraded continually through killing beings, the weapons evolve to become stronger}
'So if i kill humans with the weapon there is a chance of it evolving?'
{Yes, but I advise not killing your own kind}
'You don't own my life bastard!'
{You have enough materials in the store to upgrade your weapons}
{Do you accept?}
'Obviously yes, dumbass!'
Hex's eyes popped wider as he spectated another notification thoroughly.

Hex furrowed his eyes deep in thoughts, 'Why are there so many useless materials?'
He couldn't help but wonder that. This was a signal he interpreted as he was too useless to have too many useful materials.
{They are sellable for points}
'Points?'
This was another new word to the Phantom dictionary, which Hex would have loved to venture into, but before he forgot. His weapons needed upgrading.
The Titan's Rock armour was Strong, and could reflect attack beams. A very useful weapon. However it would be useless if given to a small weapon like the spade daggers.
The lightning dragon blade had a much wider body farme and would serve as a better subject for this upgrade.
'Use the Titan armour and upgrade the lightning dragon blade.'
{Phantom processing}
{Done}
{Weapon has been upgraded}
{Weapon has leveled up}
Name: Lightning dragon blade
Level: 89
That was just one step closer to reaching level ninety.
But not to stray too far away from the idea. Hex went back to the notification and did the same for the spade dagger.
Done}
{Weapon has been upgraded}
{Weapon has leveled up}
Name: Spade daggers
Level: 33
The same reply was immediately given. This meant that claiming this rewards were not only good for crafting but upgrading weapons.
Still to get stronger, he needed to kill Cursed ones and level up.
This seemed like the system his life was running towards.
'Now, what the heck am I gonna do with all those useless materials?'
Hex sounded like the boss in his idea of thought. He was still pissed but yearned for more information before jumping abruptly into conclusive actions.
{Should I sell the materials for points}
'It's not like I have much of a choice, do I?'
{Selling, all disposable materials}
{...}
Hex wondered into deep thought as this process kept on. If the Phantom was what it claimed to be, those useless material would have a significant use for it to have taken it into the inventory.
But why wasn't he farmiliar with this method.....
Before his ray of thought quickened in pace the next notification called out his attention.
{Points have been earned}
