"Oh, are you here to apologize for your earlier mistake?" Jeremy looked at Cok and smiled kindly, "I appreciate your thoughts but don't worry. I am not hungry now."
"You bastard-!!!" Cok got red in fury, pointing at Jeremy he shouted, "Brother Jokari it's that bastard! Please show him his place!"
"Yes, brother Jokari! That bastard thinks he is some hotshot!" Cok's friend supported his words, looking at the muscular handsome man.
"Hmm~" Jeremy hummed in amusement when he saw Jokari take a step towards him. He was walking towards him without any guard. His body was wide open for any attacks and his hands were still in his pockets.
'Heh, confident f*cker. You think you can lure me with that cheap trick?' Jeremy quickly understood that Jokari was no newbie, he was luring Jeremy to attack him by intentionally showing weakness, and the moment Jeremy attacks, Jokari will smack the living daylight out of him using his thick legs.
Jeremy raised his fist and threw a weak-looking punch at Jokari, who had anticipated it but still acted surprised. Suddenly when Jeremy was too close to defend, Jokari kicked his abdomen with all his strength.
Such an attack could have easily caught anyone off guard and would have caused their form to crumble instantly, anyone but Jeremy of course. Jeremy had lived too many lives, some as renowned martial artists to be caught by such a cheap trick.
Jeremy's other hand blocked Jokari's kick with his monstrous strength. After witnessing the strength in his micro football-like body, Jeremy didn't hate this body that much. Of course, that slight affection he felt stemmed mainly from the fact that he was unable to commit suicide and roll the dice for another body.
'What-' Jokari was surprised and he took a step back, putting up his guard this time.
'Heh, punk is getting serious now?' Jeremy scoffed and took a normal stance, not really putting too much technique into it. After all, he didn't want to reveal his whole power at once. The element of surprise gave him a huge upper hand.
Imagine how good it would feel when some stranger looks down on him, only to get beaten to his shits by him.
"Brother Jokari, please give me the chance to finish him." A muscular man stepped forward and requested to Jokari, staring menacingly at Jeremy as if he were a pig waiting to be slaughtered.
"No. I will be the one to finish him." Jokari glared, "This lump of meat is my prey."
'Guys… you should work on your phrasing…'
Jeremy dodged Jokari's stomp, feeling awkward about their talks about 'finishing him'. He wanted to shout out loud that he doesn't swing that way, but if he did that, others would find him weird for thinking that way.
'Maybe it's my mind that's too dirty…' Jeremy felt like crying.
While he was in his monologue, to others it looked like Jeremy was desperately rolling around to dodge Jokari's attacks. So unable to hold himself back, Cok guffawed out loud.
"I will let you go if you beg me to." Cok smirked, "Do you really think you can take on 15 men at a time?"
'Phrasing…' Jeremy looked blankly, trying his hardest not to cringe out loud. What the hell is wrong with these people?! Why do they phrase these sentences like that?!
"Why don't you say anything now, piggy?!" Cok's friend shouted mockingly but Jeremy didn't bother to reply as he had seen some familiar faces running towards them.
"Hey! Stop fighting, lunchtime is over. Go to your workstations!" Guard 1 and 2 rushed over to stop the fight, but after looking at the tip-top condition of Jeremy, Guard 2 leaned towards Jokari and whispered,
"Did you need more time? We came too soon?" he asked.
"Yes, I didn't even start yet and you came already." Jokari grumbled, "I wasn't even able to fist him once!"
Jeremy's eyelids twitched but he was in no condition to retort. He picked up his bowl, tossed it in the tub, and walked outside.
He already knew the guards were most likely bribed beforehand by Jokari and others because they needed to stop any fights from breaking out anywhere. 'Arriving late' to stop a fight wasn't an appropriate excuse. As for their sus dialogues, Jeremy needs to get used to those now.
Just like that, Jeremy's day went by peacefully without any trouble. He helped in the gardens for his work, and stayed in his cell, working out while deep in his thoughts. Luke's body's stamina to put it nicely, was trash. If someone told that guy to walk down the stairs, he would fall halfway through the stairs.
Despite having quite some bulky strength, his stamina and constitution were shit. So Jeremy decided to work out daily to improve his stamina.
*BEEP*
"Ugh f*ck-" Jeremy tiredly picked up his body off the ground and walked to the cafeteria again, hoping this time he could eat in peace. He was feeling too hungry after working out his lazy ass.
"Hey, fatass! How was your lunch?" Cok noticed the sweat on Jeremy's body and thought that Jeremy was afraid of them now.
"Fill it full." Jeremy glared at Cok and warned in a stern tone.
"Looks like ancestors were right, 'Rod is the logic of the fools.'' Cok brandished his serving spoon but didn't dare to attack, the lunchtime was still fresh in his memories.
"Why the f*ck is everyone here obsessed with rods, finishing, fisting, and… never mind…" Jeremy cringed again, forcefully served himself the same plain gruel, and walked to his seat, coincidentally, again next to Kiosk.
"Evening." Jeremy nodded to Kiosk and hurriedly began to wolf down his food. He knew Jokari and others would come soon to disturb him, so better finish his food early.
As expected, a thick hand pushed Jeremy's face into his gruel and scoffed, "We meet again, piggy."
"COUGH COUGH-" Jeremy coughed and drank a few swigs of water, staring menacingly at Jokari and the group who disturbed him.
"Remember your morning's beating, fatass? Beg me to let you go and apologize, then I will let you leave." Jokari curled his fist into a punch, threatening Jeremy.
"Morning's beating?" Jeremy scoffed and kicked his seat away, looking up at Jokari- yeah, the height difference sucked…
"My cough did more damage to me than you did." Jeremy spat on Jokari's shoes.
