"My cough did more damage to me than you did." Jeremy spat on Jokari's shoes.
Jeremy's words hung in the air as everyone stared at him in shock, Jokari also looked at Jeremy in shock, shame, and immense rage. He looked ready to burst apart from shame.
"BASTARD!!" Jokari threw himself at Jeremy, brandishing his bulky fists and lean muscular body.
Jeremy calmly sidestepped him and extended his foot in Jokari's way, causing him to trip over it and fall down. Which just added more to Jokari's shame and he got back up again, throwing another punch at Jeremy.
Of course, due to being blinded by the rage, he was unable to use any techniques behind his attacks. He was just punching wildly like a rabid beast, without any restraint. He looked more like a raged bull in Colleseum instead of a bulky fighter in Asylum.
'These punks don't look like they have the guts to kill anyone. Neither do they look like the type to commit suicide. Why are they in Asylum?' Jeremy dodged Jokari's punches and thought confused, he was too familiar with murderous intent and the cold aura of death. Jokari and the gang lacked those.
And Jeremy wasn't a fool to believe that this bunch of brats had mastered the art of hiding the killing intent. Thus, the question stemmed, why were they in Asylum? Wasn't it supposed to be filled with 2 cliques, one murderous psycho and other suicidal p*ssies?
Jeremy thought about it for a moment and then realized, of course, his definition of 'murderous psychos' couldn't be applied here!!! Yes, Jokari and the bunch appeared murderous to the people of planet NoKiNoDe, after all, why wouldn't they? They are the ones who at least had the guts to attempt a murder. The rest of them don't even have the guts to do that.
As for the killing intent, of course, they don't have it. As someone from a planet where killings were forbidden and no deaths except natural ones were witnessed, it was only natural that they lacked the killing intent.
"If you wish to defeat me, train for another one hundred years." Jeremy scoffed and kicked Jokari in his core, throwing him on the ground. Jeremy then squatted down in front of Jokari's face and held his chin, staring in his eyes he spoke coldly, "You don't know the cost of a real death and life. Be a good little boy and play with the ones your age, let elders do elders things."
Saying that Jeremy picked himself up from the ground and walked to his seat to continue eating nonchalantly, As if nothing had just happened.
"F-fighting is not allowed." Guard 2 looked shocked, he didn't expect Jokari to be beaten down terribly, too afraid to even get up from the ground. Neither did he expect this ugly fat football to have such strength that could throw down the muscular bodybuilders with a single kick.
"I know. I did it in self-defense." Jeremy looked at the guard 2 and stated calmly.
"O-Of course. This is your last warning. Don't fight now if you don't want us to increase your time in the Asylum." Guard 1 quickly came to mediate the situation and warned both Jokari and Jeremy alike.
"Let me eat now." Jeremy waved them off and went back to eating. He was pretty sure he had made things clear with Jokari and the gang, along with others in the asylum too. He doubted anyone would want to pick up on him now for no reason.
After all, no one wanted their sentence to be increased for no reason just for their petty ego. Especially when Jeremy showed that he is a tough nut to crack.
As expected, Jeremy's rest of the days in Asylum went by peacefully with no one coming to disturb him. In those 7 days, Jeremy had befriended the guards, Kiosk, and even Cok!! Although at first glance Cok seemed to have quite a bad attitude, after getting to know him, he was actually a simple man with no complicated thought processes.
These types were the best type of friends as you wouldn't need to worry about them stabbing you in the back. Trustworthy, simple, and dumb, just the type Jeremy loved the most.

"Hah, how was your stay in the Asylum? Had fun staying with losers like you?" Lisa scoffed when she saw Jeremy leaving the Asylum with a bored look on his face. During his long stay in the cells, Jeremy had done a lot of thinking and talked to quite a lot of people to gather intel about Aria and this world.
And he realized, that Aria was way too advanced, and there was no way to remove her from his mind as Aria was installed in the brains of every newborn child to prevent any chances of death.
"Yes. Much better than listening to your yapping." Jeremy cleaned his ears and sat in the same vehicle that had brought him here. And unluckily, he had Lisa selected as 'Protector' again.
She was doing some part-time work known as 'Protector' in which they needed to escort the cases to Asylum safely. Of course, they were divided separately for aggressive and depressive cases. And Lisa worked on depressive cases.
"Hah! Of course, it is better than with me. Your dumb brain can't understand my talks, you can only enjoy the chatters of those bottom feeders." Lisa flicked her hair arrogantly and proclaimed.
"Sure, whatever helps you sleep." Jeremy, not in the mood for bickering, waved his hand casually and laid down on his stretcher. He was tempted to open the emergency door of their flying vehicle and jump off to end himself, but of course, he knew that Aria would pop up a parachute or something else to surely save his life. So, no point in bothering to do that.
Still, talking to all those guys in the Asylum, Jeremy found out an interesting piece of news. That a bunch of students had once died on a school trip to the borders of NoKiNoDe, towards the Frozen Peaks side.
It was not that big of a deal, since deaths occur now and then at borders. But, for Jeremy, he was willing to take his chances with every opportunity he could find. And this sounded like an interesting opportunity indeed.
He had found out that,
Planet NoKiNoDe was like a huge jail built to bore and torture its population!!!!
There were laws against sex, fights, drugs, smoking, drinking, and every 'good' thing that Jeremy could think of!!! They even had a law against excessive 'reproduction' to avoid harming the health of the populace.
Such bullshit made Jeremy puke in nausea. He hated being limited, and limiting was the only thing this planet was doing to him.
'I swear I will escape from this hell soon…'
