The next class went by as fast as it came, Jeremy casually took notes and pretended to read the textbooks, but his brain was working overdrive.
As he had hoped, the opportunity to end his life had finally presented itself on a silver platter. The opportunity which is known as the Field Trip.
No details of the trip were revealed yet, but at least Jeremy can finally complete a form to go on the field trip.
"I would like the field trip form, please." Instantly after the class, Jeremy stood up and walked towards a female student sitting in the front row.
"Luke Orsics, right?" the female student asked flatly and Jeremy nodded in response.
If she was bothered by his looks, she didn't let it show, which was a right attitude for someone who is known as the CR aka Class Representative.
"Well, here you go." The CR pulled a sheet from her bag and handed it to Jeremy, "You need to get it signed by both of your parents and the fee for the Field Trip is 500$, submit them by the end of the week."
"Thanks a lot." Luke nodded politely and took the sheet from the pretty girl, leaving her alone.
He walked back to his seat and started to read its contents, while also thinking how to deal with his family he had zero clue about.
'Maybe I can find some clues and stuff about Luke's family in my dorm room,' Jeremy stroked his chin, 'As for 500 bucks, I should have some savings… right?'
'The field trip will be 3 days long out of which 2 days is barely travelling in the hover vehicle. So basically only one day to explore the place, huh? Well, I guess it's more than enough to take a swim in lava.'
Jeremy stood up from his seat and decided to skip the last class, heading towards his dorm room instead.
'I need to find out about my parents and make some preparations, barely 2 weeks are left in the trip.'
And while Jeremy was casually strolling on the campus, Lisa was getting more and more annoyed. She didn't like how she kept peeking at him again and again when he was sitting in the middle seats, and now she didn't like how she couldn't peek at him anymore!
She herself didn't know whether she wants to peek or not.
All she knows is that… LUKE IS FUCKING ANNOYING!
'UGH!' with a loud bang, Lisa slammed her head on the desk again.
Ronald wanted to ask if she was really okay, but Amelia shook her head and gestured for him to leave Lisa alone for the time being.
'Why can't he be as polite to me as he was with the CR?' Lisa pouted sourly.
***
Clueless about the annoyed Lisa, Jeremy was frantically searching for clues about his parents in his dorm room.
His room was a mess, tousled and disorganized with countless clothes, bags, shoes, stationary and even toilet paper was thrown to the floor. But Jeremy looked and looked, he couldn't find a single picture of them together!
His body's previous owner, for some reason, used to be an insecure little cautious bastard. He seemed to have hidden some nuclear secrets in his phone or something, because it was impossible to open!
Luke had made it so no one can open it without a correct password along with his biometrics.
Sure, Jeremy and Luke have the same biometrics, but the password was a whole other story!
Jeremy can't awaken the memories of his body's past owner when he reincarnates, thus he had zero clue about the password that Luke might have set.
He was hoping that he could find a clue or key after looking around the room, but alas, he couldn't. The phone was locked, and there was no way Jeremy could guess a string password that Luke could have set among infinite possibilities.
Even if it was a simple password as Luke Orsics, It could be turned into an unguessable passcode by simple alterations.
Who in their right mind could guess a password that sounds like 'LuKE_OrsICS'?
It was a simple case of miscapping, but it is impossible to guess which letter is capped and which isn't unless you have some clues. And for Jeremy to guess an entire password without a clue?
"FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!"
Jeremy cursed repeatedly, kicking the objects on the floor again and again.
"COCKSUCKER! DUMB WHO-"
Jeremy's cursing was interrupted when suddenly, Luke's phone began to ring.
// Mommy <3 //
Jeremy stared at the caller's name blankly, if he was in a handsome man's body, he would have thought this 'mommy' meant something degenerated, but of course, it was impossible for Luke.
"Yeah?" Jeremy cleared his throat and picked the call.
"Your brother told me there is some kind of a field trip by school?" Luke's mommy, Mrs Orsics, spoke in a silky but flat tone.
"That's the truth. I would need your and dad's signature for it." Jeremy replied.
"Oh yeah? I wanted to talk about that too." Linda replied, and Jeremy could swear, he could imagine a cold smirk on her ugly face—or so he assumed since he had never met the woman before.
But considering she is Luke's mommy, it wasn't hard to guess where she stood.
"I am all ears." Jeremy smiled.
"Of course you are, you would have been disowned if you weren't." Linda scoffed coldly, "The only thing you are good at is your obedience."
"Thank you, mother." Jeremy replied flatly, 'So Luke was pathetic, fat, loser, obedient and… submissive?' the more he finds out about him, the worse he feels.
"Haha!" Linda laughed, "Back to the topic. Your field trip…
You aren't allowed to go in it."
Jeremy's eyes widened and her mouth opened to utter a response, but he was visibly stunned. Never in his life did he think he would get rejected on face by his own parents!
"Is it about the 500$ fee? I have some savings-" Jeremy tried to change her mind but…
"500$? Are you thinking of our family to be that petty, Luke Matthew Orsics?" Linda's voice was much colder than ever as she chuckled dryly,
"And no, you are wrong. You aren't going to the field trip because I don't want you to.
As simple as that."
