Eva turned to go find some more drinks but accidentally bumped into someone.

"Sorry sir, am so sorry sir." She said wiping off his black tuxedo coat which had zero stains on it. "You again?" She asked looking at Gael trying hard not to roll her eyes.

She was about to reprimand him, blaming him for always being closer when his hand landed on hers. She could feel the sparks ignited as the desire to rest her head on his shoulder increased.

It was obvious that Gael felt the sparks too as he secretly inhaled her sweet scent. Eva was excited as Lexa her wolf kept screaming. 'Mate, we found our mate Eva.'

'Shut the hell up, Lexa! Screaming out for your mate as if he's gonna accept your disabled self.' Eva snapped but immediately felt the regret within her.

She was supposed to be one with her wolf despite anything that happened. 'Am sorry Lexa okay, what I meant is don't expect to be the queen Luna. We are already a reject." She tried to calm her raging wolf who said nothing in return.

Eva froze in place when Gael's cold yet hungry lips landed on hers. He sucked gently on her lips his tongue begging for entry.

Eva mused nervously, how shameful of this man. Goddammit, they were in public and she could see everyone's eyes on them. She quickly closed her eyes her body tensed and Gael could feel it.

"Just enjoy the moment mate." He said in between the kiss and that somehow made Eva relaxed. She found it harmless to enjoy an intimate scene with his mate which would probably be their last time showing affection to one another.

After tonight things would change and maybe she would become a rogue. Whatever the outcome, she was ready for it ever since she received her wolf.

Gael held her waist tightly and unknowingly, Eva's hand landed on his neck while the other caressed his hair gently.

Gael broke from the heated kiss looking straight into her eyes. "I can't believe the moon goddess blessed me with such a pretty mate. I am claiming you as my mate and Luna of the Blue Shells Pack." Gael chuckled happily.

Eva's beauty was undoubtedly one that everyone craved. That could be the reason why she was the center of attraction upon her arrival in Silver City and ever envied by other she-wolves in Light Pack.

Gael pulled Eva towards the stage but he noticed her resistance. "Anything wrong mate? Don't tell me you're going to reject me." Gael felt nervous for the first time in his life.

It would be so shameful of him if he was to be rejected by his mate in public. "I can't be the Queen Luna of the great and mighty Blue Shells Pack, for goddess's sake I am an Omega." She struggled to say the last words in between her sobs.

She could not just say that her wolf was disabled so at least an Alpha should have a reason to reject an Omega for a mat. "I am weak Gael, I can never be a Luna, I'll be a liability." Eva snapped but Gael smirked.

"I knew you're an Omega long ago, do I look bothered by that? C'mon, making you a strong Luna is as simple as marking you, my mate, and transferring my ability to you." He praised himself and Eva was rendered speechless heading towards the stage.

"Don't blame me when I turn out to be a liability," Eva warned looking at the present wolves.

"To those of my kind and the few trusted humans to be a part of my crowning celebration, I am happy that this is indeed a great day of my life," He paused.

"Cheers to my one and only Queen Luna of the Blue Shells Pack." The sound of clinking glasses filled the air as Eva nervously raised her wine glass.

Alex watched pained by every single word Gael uttered. He held tightly to his whine glass that it would break any minute. He had betrayed her upon realizing that Tricia was his mate.

He was so disturbed as to whether or not Eva would do the same. Of course, she would, he was reminded of their hot kiss when he entered. All eyes were focused on the two love birds.

Alex could feel Eva's hesitant state. He wanted her to reject him but what after she did? His father the Alpha had already set a date for his wedding with Tricia.

//You have to sneak me out of here Alex.// Eva secretly sent a text message to Alex who was so focused on what would happen next not to give a damn about the sweet background music.

//Don't let anyone see my wolf.// She sent another message and Gael could sense it from the corner of his eye. He was mad that she would ask some other man for help when he was right beside her.

"Ahem!" He cleared his throat.

Gael was confused as to why Eva wouldn't want her wolf to be seen by anyone. Was her wolf equally special? The Omicron wolf or something? He had only one way to confirm his suspicion.

"I'll proceed to the next event, everyone cheers as my mate and Luna of the Pack transform into her wolf form." He paused smiling at her.

"Let's see the kind of wolf my mate is." He mused smiling from ear to ear.
