Chapter 7 - CHAPTER 7 (REJECTION

AT THE BLUE SHELLS PACK

AUTHOR

"Has life as an Omega been so tough?" Asked Gael. Eva softened, she was about to cry and pour out her heart desires. Her struggles as an Omega. The pain, humiliation, suffering everything about her life was pathetic.

Her lips parted as she was about to break into tears but the next words that came from Gael's mouth reminded her that she was an Omega and she deserved every single injustice or harsh treatment. After all other wolves fight to protect their good-for-nothing pathetic selves.

"Don't worry, your weak disabled wolf won't be able to handle rejection." I could already understand what he meant by that. He would reject me which would kill my wolf if she was weak.

'Stay strong Lexa.' I pleaded with my wolf but she said nothing. I could already feel my heartbeat increasing with every single breath I took in.

'Inhale, exhale.' I wanted to calm down before facing my rejection in front of every wolf.

"Are you ready for this Eva?" Gael asked and she could feel the pain in his voice.

'Eva, we refuse to feel the pain. We refuse to die.' My wolf snapped and I nodded wiping off the tears that had already threatened to fall off my cheeks.

Gael raised his hand and Eva's palm landed on his as they held hands tightly. "I Gael Rodrigo, Alpha of the Blue Shells Pack reject you, Eva Alvarez an Omega of the Light Pack." Gael felt extreme pain as he completed the words with difficulty.

'Lexa we can do this right?' No answer and maybe she was long dead even before the rejection? "I Eva Alvarez, an Omega of the Light Pack accept your rejection." The strings attached to them, the bond created between the two werewolves by the moon goddess herself was broke as a slight spark was emmited from both sides pulling them away from one another.

As they let go of one another, both were hurt and weak. Gael was weak in tears and so was Eva. He quickly wiped off his tears and walked back to the party.

"It's done, Mother." Gael forced his entire being to appear strong and unfazed but he was slowly dying and he was scared that he could lose his wolf in the process. Was his wolf so weak that it could not handle a rejection?

Unknowingly to him, an Alpha whose origin was the Blue Shells Pack had accepted his rejection and obviously he was weaker compared to her.

"Good, now claim Soraya as your mate and Luna of the Pack. I'll handle the rest for you son." She proclaimed confidently staying back when her eyes landed on Eva.

'I will take you back to the moon goddess myself Eva or whatever you may be. You can't be the reason for my son's weakness.' She took several sips from his wine glass her eyes still focused on Eva.

She was the type to always be in charge and she would ensure that his son walked in the path she would create.

On the other hand, Allison could no longer bear the pain and broken state he was in. His eyes landed on Eva, he knew that was his daughter. To think how fate had brought her back to him yet he would not rectify his mistakes was the worst thing that had happened to him so far.

He knew what fate had in store for Eva just by the Luna's terrible glare at her. What would he do? Just watch as mother and daughter sign up for a cold war? His mate wouldn't hesitate to finish her off and he didn't want blood on to stain her hands, he knew he had to act fast.

It was pretty obvious that his daughter would lose to her mother and maybe he would leave the situation at that. It would be the best for everyone. All he wanted was to fool everyone into thinking that the curse never manifested upon him.

Gael walked straight towards Soraya from the corner of his eye secretly appearing Eva's image. He wanted to know the impact his rejection had on her.

Eva lifted a tray in her hand and was about to embark on serving the guests when someone pulled her to himself. "Let's get you out of here Eva." She heard Alexander's voice but she was too weak to offer any resistance.

If rejection was this painful then she would not allow Alex to reject his mate. Tricia, like all other wolves deserved attention despite her cold-hearted self.

"Don't reject your mate, Alex, go back to her because I can handle mysef. It's my fate." She said weakly. "If you would allow me, let me drive back in your car."

With a single nod from Alex, she drove straight into the huge forest. Carefully placed her clothes nearby before shifting into her wolf form.

'Lexa, let's have fun together. Don't worry about rejection okay?' She tried to plead with her wolf. Eva froze in place when some leaves shook violently from a distance. Someone must be coming closer.

With the adrenaline rush within her, Lexa finally came out. Eva took her disabled wolf form. The air was filled with a foul smell meaning a rouge was coming closer and closer.

Her eyes landed on the rogue, with yellow blazing eyes just like Gael and she was communicating in their wolf language.

"See who's handling rejection by the Alpha king terrorizing most of our territories." She mused.

I remained silent since aside from walking I guess I couldn't communicate in my wolf form. Come to think of it, even howling was out of the picture for me.

"Since I want to destroy this territory, I'll start with you, the rejected Alpha's mate." With the statement, Eva could already tell that she was a rouge from the Blue Shells Pack and was now seeking vengeance.

As she was already in her wolf form, she jumped aiming for her neck to rip and tear her like she had no humanity in her. Out of impulse, Eva groaned angrily scaring her off.

"Alpha." She moved three steps back in fear. That was exactly how Alison the Pack Alpha groaned whenever situations were dire and he had sensed trouble. It was also his bloody way of summoning other wolves.

Why would she have the same howl as The King Alpha and come to think of it? Her wolf's appearance was the same as Alison and his mate with Alison's blazing red eyes whenever he was angry.

"Father called, there's trouble outside." Gael snapped immediately shapeshifting.
