Turning around the corner Leo was left awestruck. A coliseum mimicking those of old, as big and as beautiful as the Flavian Amphitheater in Rome. "You like it, it is my magnum opus, my masterpiece. The walls are reinforced to survive against the strongest of magics, in times of performance a see through spell barrier can be activated. That's not all boy." He laughs. " In there are masterwork cages designed to hold monsters."
"Why?" Is all Leo could bring himself to ask.
"Come on, I'm sure you can guess." He said as if talking to a child.
Dread fills every cell of Leo's body. His instincts are telling him to run, get away as fast as possible. But no matter his commands, his legs just won't move. Somewhere in him he knew running was not an option. They enter the coliseum, Leo's heart felt like it was going to thump out of his chest. Thud, thud, thud. Leo's heart matched his footsteps both in rhythm and in ear piercing sound. They exit the tunnel and enter the true arena. Bleachers line the walls in all directions, endless eyes staring at Leo. It felt like the empty coliseum should be filled with screams. Thump, thump, thump.
"Okay kid sense I'm starting to grow attached to you, I suppose I will tell you the rules. I'll send a monster at you. Depending of course how you deal with it will determine if I accept you. Wait, I almost forgot." Saints Hand continues, "Try not to die." He chuckles well leaving to the stands.
