Chapter 27 - I Really Want to Turn You into Thumbelina

The next day was the day Isabella and the film school had agreed upon for casting.

She got up early and woke up Alexander.

Alexander, who was not fully awake, sat on the bed, a few strands of hair sticking out, eyes sleepy, rubbing his eyes from time to time.

"Get up, we're going out today," Isabella smoothed his hair.

"I want to sleep more," Alexander said pitifully.

"No, you can't." Isabella looked at him and couldn't resist pinching his face. "Do you know what sacrifices I made to take you out today? I really want to turn you into Thumbelina, it would be much easier."

Alexander's face was distorted by Isabella's teasing, pouting, looking at Isabella without resistance.

Isabella couldn't help but laugh and let go. "Okay, get up now."

Alexander grumbled, nodded, "Hmm."

The hair on his head swayed back and forth, cute and obedient.

After they were ready, they got into the car together. Isabella noticed the complicated expression on the butler not far away, he didn't come over as usual.

Isabella smiled, got into the car, and went straight to a hotel near the school, renting a large conference room.

The assistant director, Lilian, was also her classmate. When Isabella arrived, Lilian and Grace were already there.

Grace was stunned when she saw Alexander. "Cousin? Why are you here?"

"I brought him." Isabella said.

First, she settled Alexander and then discussed the process with Grace and the others.

Isabella asked, "How are things going?"

"Almost there," Lilian said. "I've received many resumes from classmates recently, screened some, and invited some for interviews today. Take a look and see if there are any suitable ones."

"Just the three of us?" Grace asked.

"Yes. Small crew, limited manpower." Isabella said.

"Liam isn't coming?"

Isabella nodded. "He's busy with the new company."

"It's better he doesn't come, we can make our own decisions."

Grace glanced at Alexander and approached Isabella. "Why did you bring my cousin?"

"Just want to bring him." Isabella said indifferently. "He's so obedient, he won't cause any trouble."

"Obedient?!" Grace looked at Isabella in astonishment. It was the first time she heard someone describe Alexander as "obedient."

"Alright, now that everyone is here, let's get started."

In the conference room, one actor after another walked in. Isabella did find some good candidates and even saw Olivia.

Isabella noted down a few candidates and planned to discuss it later. The morning auditions ended, and the four of them prepared to go downstairs for lunch.

As they were leaving, they saw Olivia waiting there.

Seeing Isabella coming out, Olivia walked over and said, "Isabella, thank you."

"Hmm?" Isabella was a bit puzzled.

Olivia smiled and said, "For that incident on the set the other day. Thank you."

Isabella recalled and smiled. "No need to thank me, I wasn't really standing up for you."

Olivia looked at Alexander and said, "I know, but I still want to thank you. If it weren't for you, the director wouldn't have replaced Diane, and I wouldn't have had the chance to play the female lead."

It seemed that Kenneth had let Olivia replace Diane.

"Congratulations," Isabella said.

Olivia smiled and said, "I should be finishing my scenes at the end of next month. I'm fully capable of handling your project."

Isabella nodded, indeed, the early preparations would take at least a month.

Isabella thought for a moment. "You haven't signed with a company yet, right?"

Olivia was puzzled, wasn't Isabella talking about the audition? Why bring up the company?

Isabella smiled mysteriously. "I recently started an entertainment company. Are you interested? If you sign with our company, you'll definitely be the female lead in this project."

Although she was already planning to use Olivia, the company had just started, and convincing one artist was a good start.

Olivia looked at Isabella's expression, her expression complicated. Due to Sofia's relationship, she knew about Isabella's family background. Why would a wealthy heiress show such an expression?

"You're different from Sofia." Olivia said.

Isabella sneered, "How can I compare to my sister? She's a precious white tea flower."

Olivia chuckled, her good impression of Isabella deepening a bit.

"Can you tell me about your company's advantages? What can you offer me if I sign with your company? Who is my agent?"

Isabella:...

Isabella secretly nodded, increasingly appreciating Olivia. She was a clear-headed person because...

She couldn't answer these questions at all. How could a company that had not been formally established answer these questions?

The persuasion failed. Should she really give up on Olivia?

She felt a bit reluctant! This was a potential A-list star in the future!
