Chapter 29 - Izzy, Do You Like My Cousin?

Grace hadn't been to the Bennett family's house since the day she visited. She had no idea that her cousin was like this.

"Do you know how we used to call our cousin?" Grace asked.

"How?"

"The Cold-faced Devil."

Isabella: ...

Grace exclaimed excitedly, "I never thought that the Cold-faced Devil would become a cutie one day! So cute!"

How could such a mature man be this cute?

Isabella chuckled, her eyes curved with approval.

Seeing Isabella looking as if she were being praised, Grace's eyes shifted, "Izzy, do you like my cousin?"

"Yes!" Isabella nodded. Who wouldn't like such an adorable cutie?

Seeing her face not turning red, Grace knew that her "like" and Isabella's "like" weren't the same thing. However, now that they were married, arguing about these things was pointless.

After a while, the fitting room door opened.

Alexander pushed the wheelchair out by himself.

Isabella looked over, black pants, black coat. Fortunately, the shirt inside was white. Cutie left the collar of the shirt open, changing the previous restrained style to a lazy feeling. Paired with his impeccable handsome face, it was so good-looking that it broke the usual style.

"This outfit suits this gentleman perfectly." The sales assistant praised repeatedly, looking amazed.

Isabella nodded, "We'll take this one. Let's wear it out."

She stepped forward, helped Alexander straighten his clothes, and smiled, "Alex, you have great taste. Let's go look at other clothes and buy a few more, okay?"

Grace, thinking about the rejected dresses from earlier, wondered if this was considered good taste.

Alexander came to the clothing rack and pointed to a white casual outfit.

Isabella laughed, "Alex, this is for women."

Why did he make a mistake right after praising his good taste?

Alexander reached out, touched Isabella's fingertip, and said in a soft and pleasant voice, "Give it to Izzy."

"Give it to me?" Isabella was momentarily stunned, but after a moment, she smiled and said, "Alright, then I'll try it on, okay?"

Was this cutie trying to make up for her not buying clothes just now? How considerate.

Isabella quickly changed into the white casual outfit and came out. She looked at it, simple and elegant, comfortable to wear. "Is it good-looking?"

Alexander nodded, "Good-looking! Very good-looking!"

Grace looked at Alexander. How should she put it? This casual outfit was just that, simple and elegant, somewhat good-looking, but not to the extent of very good-looking.

Moreover...

Grace looked at the black clothes on Alexander and the white clothes on Isabella. Why did it give her a feeling of couple outfits?

Also, the dress was not good-looking, but the tightly wrapped casual outfit was good-looking.

As a screenwriter, Grace felt that this scene was so familiar.

She looked at Alexander. No way, right? It shouldn't be what she was thinking, right? Given the current situation of her cousin, he shouldn't have such thoughts, right?

It must be her overthinking.

Isabella bought several more clothes for Alexander before they left together.

"Why didn't you buy clothes today?" Isabella asked Grace, who had been quiet.

"Oh, I'm not lacking, no rush to buy." Grace said.

Isabella nodded, "Okay, wait for me here. I'll go over there and buy a cake."

There was a staircase to the cake shop on the first floor of the mall, making it inconvenient for Alexander to sit in the wheelchair.

Grace pushed the wheelchair and found a shady spot to stand.

Isabella quickly bought the cake. On her way back, a few steps away from Grace and Alexander, her face changed dramatically.

Suddenly, the billboard hanging on the wall of the mall seemed to be falling rapidly!

"Watch out!"
