Aaliyah stood at the entrance of the airport, ticket in hand, replaying all events that had led to this point in her head.
' After years of avoiding that place, I'm finally going back '. With a sigh, Aaliyah proceeded to check in but stopped when she heard a familiar voice yell her name.
' Aaliyah!'
Aaliyah turned around and saw that it was none other than Jordan. She was ecstatic to see her friend here. But at the same time confused.
In a few seconds, Jordan reached Aaliyah's spot and began panting. " Jordan, what are you doing here? I know you're mad about me not telling you about my travel to Brooklyn but you didn't have to follow me here." Aaliyah said.
But she became even more confused about the travelling bags behind Jordan. Was Jordan planning to go to Brooklyn?
" Jordan, you don't need to follow me all the way to Brooklyn."
" Well, there's nothing you can do to stop me. Besides, I have my own business to attend to there. I'm going to see my father".
Aaliyah was over the moon to finally hear Jordan was going to make up with her father.
Jordan has been avoiding her father for more than five years, longer than the time Aaliyah's been avoiding her family. She had always encouraged Jordan to mend her relationship with her father but Jordan always said their relationship was damaged beyond repair.
It broke Aaliyah's heart to see Jordan heartbroken on her birthdays but she couldn't push her to do something she didn't want. So, she let the matter go.
But now, Jordan was here saying she wanted to reconcile with her family. Aaliyah thought that after Jordan reconciled with her father, she would want to stay longer but contrary to what was on Aaliyah's mind, Jordan just wanted to get this visit over with.
Unfortunately, their reunion was cut short by Raymund making his way to Aaliyah. Aaliyah frowned when she saw a woman with him. She looked a little bit older than Raymund. Raymund noticed her frowning and smirked.
' Jealous?' Raymund asked but Aaliyah immediately made a disgusted face. ' You wish. You can bring a thousand women in and do whatever you want. I really don't care. Although you should worry about what your wife would say'.
Raymund's smirk vanished and was replaced with a confused face. He didn't think Aaliyah would ever want to speak with Naya. But he quickly masked it with a confident smirk.
' She wouldn't mind since it's s her sister-in-law. I don't think you've met -'
' And I don't think we'll ever wanna meet. So, I'll just save us the time by ignoring the introductions '. Raymund slowly nodded but the woman behind him frowned.
' So, which way?' Aaliyah asked as Raymund signaled one of his bodyguards to carry their luggage. Aaliyah noticed the bodyguard didn't take Jordan's luggage but left it with her.
' Why didn't he take hers?' Aaliyah asked, clearly confused. And a little bit angry. Raymund just chuckled as he replied, ' Cuz she's not coming with us'.
Aaliyah frowned. ' But you get to bring a plus one with you, why not me?' The woman behind Raymund took a step forward and spoke, ' Um, obviously because it's my family's plane and not yours. So, we get to use it anyway we like. And also, you should be grateful that we're letting you tag along with us -'
' Like I wanted to. You can ask your brother, he'll tell you just how much blackmailing he had to do to get me to go with him ', Aaliyah said as she side eyed Raymund who frowned.
' Now if you'll excuse me, I have to talk with my fri -'
' Jordan, Aaliyah.'
Jordan was beyond shocked to see Levi approaching them and apparently, she wasn't the only one. Harper and Raymund became wide eyed as they watched Levi majestically make his way to Jordan and Aaliyah.
' What relationship does she have with Levi Thorn?' Raymund thought.
When Levi got to Jordan, he immediately took her luggage away from her. ' Wow, this is heavy '.
Jordan couldn't speak as she was hit with a wave of shock from what he did. They were standing right in front of two and she had been trying to not look too important. That was the reason why she had asked Levi's bodyguards to stay far away from her.
But she never expect Levi himself would show up. But Levi on the other hand, didn't pay any attention to the Edrics and just said ' Hi' ti Aaliyah.
' ' Jordan, we need to go now if we're going to get there before noon'. Jordan simply just nodded as Levi asked his assistant, Rhea, to show Levi to the plane.
Jordan was confused as to why Levi didn't show her personally but didn't say anything after she saw Levi's face turn serious when he turned to Raymund. So, to avoid getting involved in whatever's about to go down, she followed Rhea.

Levi stared at Raymund for less than a second before focusing on Aaliyah who was looking at the floor.
' I heard from Jordan that you were going to Brooklyn as well. You should join-'
' Actually Mr Thorn,she is coming with me '
