DAMON'S LUXURIOUS MANSION
Damon kept glaring at his laptop with bloodshot yet confused eyes. He had been waiting for her response for one and a half hour now and she still hadn't replied. He was getting impatient.
" Why isn't she replying me? Is she mad at me? But I didn't say anything to upset her in our last chat session". Damon was getting really anxious, nervous and angry. Anxious because he was scared she wouldn't talk to him ever again. Nervous because he didn't know what he did to upset her, so he didn't know what to say when she calls. Angry because he was angry at himself for not being observant enough about her feelings which left him clueless about how she was feeling now.
Damon ended up staring at the laptop for five minutes until Levi interrupted him. " I assume you're done with ur chat session?"
But Damon just kept on frowning while staring at the laptop screen.
" What happened?" Levi asked. But Damon kept staring until about after two minutes, he finally spoke, " She didn't reply my messages. I think I offended her"
Levi frowned then chuckled upon seeing Damon's puzzled and worried expression. Damon on the other hand looked at Levi with a really confused look. " What's so funny?"
But when Levi laid his eyes on Damon, he immediately compared the handsome, majestic, ruthless, devil CEO who no one could order around unless you had a death wish with the man who was sitting right in front him who was put in a dilemma all because his texting buddy didn't reply him, he couldn't help but burst out laughing.
Damon on the other hand, became more confused at Levi's behavior. He couldn't just see what was funny in this predicament he found himself in. He was genuinely worried about his web pal, whose name was J_ade_027, but this guy was finding amusement in watching him worry.
When Levi finally calmed down, he said, " It's just so funny how the cold and aloof CEO of EVOTECH, or who everyone presumes you to be, can be worried this much about someone not replying his- woah!".
Levi immediately ducked when a table lamp almost hit him in the head. Damon then said, " Quit laughing and help me think of something!"
When Levi stared at the parts of the broken lamp and back at Damon, he then recovered himself. " I dunno, man. Maybe she's tired and fell asleep early. Or she's busy with something else. Just wait till tomorrow. Plus we have so many meetings tomorrow. You should get some sleep"
After considering Levi's words, Damon finally gave in and went to bed. When he saw his grouchy ape finally go to bed, Levi heaved a sigh, " If anyone told me that this ape was actually worried about someone, I'd send that person to the mental health facility in the blink of an eye". But little did Levi know that his big great ape didn't sleep a wink at night because he was worried about his special Web pen pal.

THE NEXT MORNING
Damon was the first of the two men to wake up. Well, I wouldn't call it wake up since he didn't actually sleep at all. But he didn't seem affected since his worries were still intact.
When Levi woke up, he saw Damon already dressed in a black designer suit and ready to go. Levi's jaw dropped when he saw Damon still staring at the laptop, inn almost his exact same position last night.
" What?! Don't tell me you stayed here all night?! Have u gone crazy, Damon?!" Damon just stared at Levi like he was spouting nonsense which he was. After giving him a scrutinized gaze, he replied, " Of course I didn't. I woke up an hour ago. I've been waiting for you to wake up so we could go".
Levi stared at him with a gaze that was saying, ' that's hard to believe ' but Damon simply ignored him. Just then, Avery walked in. She then greeted Damon and then examined Levi from head to toe.
" Do you plan to go to the meeting with a pink teddy printed pajama?" Avery asked and Levi's face turned red as he realized that he was still proudly wearing his pajama which was unfortunately pink with teddy bears on it.
" I - I was just about to change..." He said to Avery. " And also, that's no way to talk to your boss" Levi added but Avery just rolled her eyes and said, " Last time I checked, I worked for him.." She said while pointing at Damon, "...Not you".
Levi gritted his teeth as he turned to Damon and said, " I'll be down in a second". He then stomped up the stairs. " What a baby" Avery said before walking over to Damon.
" Sir, the meeting starts in an hour" Avery informed Damon. Damon simply waved his hand as he kept on staring at the laptop before sighing. Avery raised a brow as she walked away but was stopped midway by Damon.
" Do you have a....friend whom you've never met in person?" He asked and Avery immediately drew a confused face. " Sir?"
" Don't make me repeat myself", Damon said. Avery immediately shook her head. Damon immediately frowned and walked away while uttering the words, " Great".
