NEW GEM HOSPITAL, ROOM 023, VIP WARD, FIFTH FLOOR
Victor was sitting at the edge of Cara's bed going through the news on the internet. Most of the news were about Aaliyah duping the Edrics. Victor just sighed as he put down his phone. He didn't know what to think anymore.
He knew Aaliyah wouldn't do something like this but part of him believed it telling him it was as a result of her living in a rough neighborhood. But then again, it was also his fault for not taking on his responsibility as a father, but of course, Victor wasn't ready to admit that.
Just then, one of Victor's bodyguards came into the room. He bowed and said, " Sir, the girl is ready for shipment". Victor nodded as he gave his bodyguard a ' go ahead' signal. Seeing this, the bodyguard bowed one more time and left.

NEW GEM HOSPITAL PREMISES
The ever peaceful premises f the hospital soon turned chaotic when a group of four to five bodyguards were trying to restrain a girl who kept on trying to run away from them but kept on failing.
" Let me go!! I said... let me go!!" Aaliyah screamed catching people's attention. She kept on screaming until one of the bodyguards covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming again.
Aaliyah continued to struggle in their tight grip with the hope of breaking free but the bodyguard's grip was just too strong. Soon, people began to whisper as they watched the scene.
" Hey, isn't that the girl who was caught after duping the Edrics?" One woman said.
" I heard the Edrics decided not to press charges because Madam Naya asked them to let it be" Another said.
" Oh, ma'am Naya is so nice.."
" I heard that I'll mannered girl even tried to steal ma'am Naya's husband. If I were ma'am Naya, I would've killed her the moment I saw her ".
Aaliyah heard all that the women said. The more she heard, the more her blood began to boil. How could they spread such news of her? And she trying to steal Raymund? Even if Raymund was the last man on earth, she wouldn't do that. And Naya being nice? That was going to happen the day the devil won God in a war.
These people were spouting nonsense. But that was the least of her problems right now. The bodyguards shoved Aaliyah roughly into a car along with two bodyguards who got in after her.
The interior of the car was demarcated with a tinted glass preventing the person at the back from seeing the person at the front. But as soon as Aaliyah got in, the driver rolled it down so he would be able to observe her movements.
Aaliyah quickly scanned her surroundings and saw that everything in which she could use as a weapon in a car had been removed from the car. She sighed in defeat as the car started moving.
After a few minutes of driving, Aaliyah kept on looking around until she saw a fire extinguisher on her right. But the problem was, it was near the guard who wasn't driving.
Aaliyah did her math in her head and realized that the extinguisher wasn't within the guard's line of sight. So, making sure her movements weren't noticeable, she began to stealthily reach for the extinguisher. The guards were busy discussing about various things and the both of them seemed distracted enough.
The one driving made sure to check on Aaliyah from time to time, but luckily for her,, he didn't see her movements. Soon enough, the car stopped at a red light and Aaliyah noticed that if she was going to make a run for it, this was the right time to do so.
Aaliyah had already grabbed the fire extinguisher and was getting ready to knock the guards out when the car started moving again. ' Why?!' Aaliyah thought.
But still, she was going to make her move one way or the other. Scooting over to the side of the guard who wasn't driving, Aaliyah held the extinguisher tight and struck the guy's head with the bottom of the extinguisher.
The driver who saw this, immediately tried to pull out a gun but Aaliyah grabbed onto it.
Seeing as the guy was also driving, he couldn't keep his focus on the gun and accidentally pulled the trigger. The bullet hit Aaliyah on her abdomen on her left. But Aaliyah didn't bulge.
She instead kept on dragging the gun as she reached for the steering wheel and swerved right, ramming the car straight into a pole. Luckily, none of them were harmed, the other guard was unconscious and the driver's head was bleeding and his vision was blurry.
Aaliyah was also injured but it seemed she was having an adrenaline rush and wasn't able to feel anything right now. She tried opening the door but the door was jammed. Grabbing the extinguisher, she used it to bash the door until the door flew open.
She immediately dived down and ignored the shocked, panicked and weird looks people have her. She wasn't seeing clearly and was losing a lot of blood from her wound. She was also staggering but she didn't care as she walked towards the busy road.
Her eyes were so blurry and her head was foggy that she didn't notice the speeding car coming towards her. The car honked but before she could turn to see what was happening, she felt an a harsh impact and soon, she saw darkness.
