Aaliyah, after hearing Jordan's message,located the bathroom and showered. After that, she put on a set of new clothes, though she had no idea how they got there as they weren't hers, and stepped out of the bedroom.
Immediately she stepped out, she saw Jordan and a man, whom she couldn't quite see clearly, having breakfast.
' Oh Aaliyah. You're here'
' Where am I?' was the first question Aaliyah asked when she saw Jordan. Jordan looked at the man and said, ' This is my...cousin, Levi and, and this is his place'.
Aaliyah looked at the man and he was dazzling. Levi had electrifying blue eyes accompanied with very black hair of which little of it was dyed red. Levi had a little piercing at the top of his ear which wasn't that visible from afar. He was wearing a navy blue suit with black shoes indicating that he was going somewhere. He stood up when Jordan introduced him.
' Hi', he said whole thrusting his hand out for a handshake. Aaliyah shook his hand and he grinned.
' Aaliyah'. Levi nodded and said ' So I've heard. Jordan's told me a lot about you'.
Jordan was beyond shocked. She hasnt seen this guy for seven years. And she didn't have his phone number. So, just how did she tell him about Aaliyah? Did they have a meeting she didn't remember. Either that, or this guy was an excellent liar.
' Come on, have a seat. You skipped dinner last night's, Levi said as he pulls out a chair for Aaliyah. Aaliyah thanked him as she sat down.
To be honest, Levi looked nothing like Jordan. He had those beautiful set of electrifying blue eyes while Jordan had brown eyes. He had thick black hair while Jordan had light brown hair. His skin was as white as snow and Jordan's was a little bit darker than his. She just couldn't see the resemblance between them.
' So, are you just gonna stare at the food?'
Levi's voice snapped Aaliyah out of her thoughts. Levi had already finished his plate and was serving seconds. Aaliyah and Jordan both wondered how he was able to maintain such an excellent physique if he ate like a glutton. ' I'm sorry. I'm just lost in my thoughts'. Levi just nodded and served some sausages and rice on his plate.
Minutes passed by and Levi and the others were done with breakfast, now preparing for their days' activities.
Levi was buttoning his jacket when Jordan approached him.
' You're leaving?'. Levi smiled and nodded.
' Yeah, I have to attend to something. It's very important '.
Jordan nodded but Levi saw a worried look on her face. ' What is it?' Levi asked Jordan but she didn't answer. ' Jordan....' Levi urged and Jordan sighed.
' I'm thinking about visiting Dad'. Levi was speechless. He never thought this day would come. After that argument, Jordan left and they soon found out that she settled down in Santa Monica. The Chairman had asked him to keep an eye on her and Levi di just that. He planted some spies in Jordan's model agency and her neighbourhood, not that he'll tell her that.
W- Well, that's great. Maybe you can come back with me tomorrow and...'
' I'm still thinking about it, Levi. I haven't said I'll do so yet'. Levi's excited expression vanished and was replaced with a sad look. But he quickly hid it before Jordan could see it. ' Alright. If youve decided, let me know. I'm sure your father would be happy to see you'.
' Okay'.
' Also, Joseph's waiting for you if you want to go to work. He'll drive you'.
' If?'
' You know you don't have to'. Jordan frowned at Levi. And Levi just smiled apologetically at her.
After their conversation, Levi left and Aaliyah and Jordan began to prepare for work. When Levi finally got to his office, he dialed a number.
' Good news. I think your sister's coming home'
