Shocked was an understatement. Aaliyah looked like her eyes would bulge out of her skull at any moment. What was he doing here? Of all people in the world, why him?
Aaliyah was slapped back to reality when Raymund thrusted his hand out for a handshake.
' Miss Wilson, it's nice to finally meet you. I'm Raymund Edric, CEO of the famous Onyx Empire '.
The sight of his hand disgusted Aaliyah. It was that hand he used to hit her two years ago. It was that hand he used to pull the trigger. It was that hand he used to pay his men on their backs saying ' good job', after that had tortured her.
' What are you doing here?', Aaliyah blurted out before she could stop herself. Raymund just chuckled at her statement. When he was done, he said to Mr Callan in a cold tone, ' Give us a moment'.
Though his eyes were on Mr Callan, everyone else knew he was implying that they leave. So, they left. In about one minute, the only people left in the room were Raymund and Aaliyah.
' Have a seat. Would you like some coffee or perhaps lattè?' Raymund asked as he sat down. But Aaliyah did not. Seeing that Aaliyah wasn't going to exchange pleasantries with him, not that he blamed her, Raymund sighed and went straight to the point.
' Your father wants you to come back to Brooklyn'.
Aaliyah's frown deepened when she heard him say that. Why would her father want her back in Brooklyn after all these years? Maybe he needed her for something.
' I know what you're thinking. Why would he want you back after all these years? What help are you to him? Compared to Naya, you're nothing. To be honest, I thought exactly the same thing when he asked me to come to Santa Monica to get you. But this is important.' Raymund said to Aaliyah and was expecting Aaliyah to go ballistic but was speechless when she didn't.
Instead, she took a deep breath and responded calmly, ' I'm not coming.'
Raymund frowned. ' What do you mean by you're not coming? Look, I'm not asking you, I'm ordering you-'
' And who are you to do that?' Aaliyah asked as she took a step towards Raymund. Raymund's frown turned into shock as he saw the menacing look on Aaliyah's face.
' I don't care what he wants from me. I'm not coming with you'.
With that being said, Aaliyah turned to leave but Raymund held her arm stopping her. ' Fine. I'll tell you the truth. It's Harris. He needs you'.

Jordan sighed as she walked out of the auditorium. Her team had just had a two hour meeting of which afterwards, they were called into the auditorium for an evaluation of their month's work so far.

She was exhausted. As soon as she got to her office, she slumped on her chair and rested her head on its headrest as she closed her eyes. But then, she senses someone else was there with her.
So, she prepared herself for the worst case scenario mentally, picturing her office in her head as she figured out what she could use to defend herself against whoever was in there with her.
When she was done with her mental preparation, she opened her eyes only for her eyes to meet a pair of electrifying blue ones. Upon closer inspection, she saw it was none other than Levi.
