Null sat down looking at Connie, Liam's mother with his blank emotionless eyes. She also looked at him, smiling. They've been looking at each other like this for the past five minutes.
"Mum, enough," Liam said in frustration. He just now realized that he made the mistake of returning here with Null.
"What?" Connie said innocently. "I was just observing your 'friend' here... Although I didn't expect that you would be friends with a dangerous being," she said smiling weirdly.
Liam knew the meaning behind that smile and her words. She wants to get rid of Null because he might get in the way of her plans.
"Anyway, I invited Vera and her family to come over, I hope you don't mind?" Connie said.
Liam taps his finger impatiently. "I wasn't informed about this," he said, obviously not happy about this.
"I asked your brother to leave that part out," she said smirking slightly.
