Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Five hundred years into the future, a scientific experiment broke out and infected the entire world. Countless lives were lost, and it was only the beginning. Several people awoke powers, that could only be imagined by one's fantasy or wildest dreams, and fought against the monsters created by the experiment, threatening what was left of the human race.

The human race became stronger because of this phenomenon and we're finally able to regain control. They called it V.P. Appointing leaders and restarting new countries, the peace lasted for two hundred and fifty-three years...

Until...

The blood of both allies and enemies stained his body. His eyes were unfocused as he continued to mercilessly slaughter everything that had breath.

His appearance was ominous, a pair of dark purple horns was on his head, and his grey eyes had red streaks glowing with bloodlust.

When there was no one else in sight he stood still, taking several deep breaths. There was only one thing on his mind at the moment. Kill.

He heard a sound and before he could move spat out blood. Then fell to his knees.

He struggled to fight whatever was in his system rapidly killing him.

A woman appeared in front of him with a sad look on her face.

"When will I finally give you the peaceful end you deserve my child," she said in disappointment. "Rest now." She bends down and closes his eyes. The red glow in his eyes had already gone, meaning he had finally gone to rest

~~~~
"Z_0!"
He blinks slowly. Looking up to his commander. "He's out of it, are you sure he's ready, Natasha."
He finds himself in a familiar position. Sitting in the helicarrier holding a gun and a knife.
He remembers what is going on. He is about to land with several other people to attack the military base. They couldn't finish this mission and half of the people in this carrier would die.
The rest ran away with their tails in between their legs. Abandoning him here. He escaped on his own with a person's voice in his head leading him back to the base.
"It's too late to worry about that, we're already here."
He already knew what to do, and he stood up. His parachute was already ready and the bottom of the helicarrier opened. He was wearing a helmet and protective glasses, he was also the only one visibly holding weapons.
He jumped out first.
Their location is a very well-secured prison on an island in the middle of the ocean. Their mission is to break out one of their generals from the prison.
What they wouldn't expect was for ten Score S soldiers to be present and easily defeat their group of fifty Score A men, and him.
This was a test of how well he was going to be when put to use on a real battlefield.
This prison is difficult to break into because of a force field surrounding it, as well as having a very high-security system on board.
The hacker on board the helicarrier would soon tell them when it was time to break through the concrete wall.
"Now!" he heard in the earpiece that was in his ear.
Boom!
A V.P. user used her ability to create explosions and destroy the concrete wall. The guards on board began shooting at them.
He cut the parachute ignoring the bullets piercing his skin. He regenerated easily but the bullets pierced through the parachute
Luckily he was close to the ground. So he removes the parachute and falls to the ground, and immediately firing at the men.
He never missed and only aimed for their heads.
Everyone else on the team was also using their V.P. when he had exhausted his bullets. He threw down his gun, and took out his knife, the real test begins now.
Several of them had already entered the base, ready to rescue the general while they were outfielder dealing with the soldiers. But they will be dead soon.
The Score S soldiers would soon come out and wipe out most of them.
He kept killing every soldier he saw, until, he was sliced across the chest.
He jumped a few feet back his wound closing up. He doesn't need to look back to know what was going on.
His teammates were already dead, poisonous gas was spreading through the air.
His body had adapted to the situation. This wasn't going to stop him from his mission.
He knows who to go after first. He sees several Score S soldiers in front of him. There are a lot more than he thought there were going to be.
His allies had already abandoned him and ran away.
He was about to move when he fell to his knees. He feels something on his thigh. A tranquilizer dart. That wasn't meant to work on him. How is this possible?
A woman came in smiling. He recognizes her as his creator and the last face he saw before he died, or so he believes.
"My wonderful creation," she said gently. "I will give you the life you finally deserve."
She removes the helmet and protective glasses meeting his grey eyes. "Rest now," she said closing his eyes, and then carried him.
When Z_0:00 woke up, his eyes were covered and his hands and legs were tied up. He struggled for a while and discovered something was wrong.
"Hello, Z_0:00."
He hears the familiar voice of his creator and stops struggling. He couldn't remove whatever was covering his eyes, but he instinctively moved in the direction of her voice.
She chuckles in amusement. "I'm glad you still recognize me," she said. "The last time we saw each other was when you were five. Or if you want me to put it more practically, five years into the future. When I killed you."
He remained calm. "I am going to remove the blindfold, but you have to promise not to kill me," she said. "Or try to escape."
He nodded in response.
His blindfold was removed and he was able to see once again. The woman in front of him had blue eyes black hair and pale skin, there were also wrinkles on the side of her face.
"Did they ever teach you to talk or do you just decide not to?" she asked out of concern but got no response from him.
His country should have contacted him by now.
"If you are wondering why you haven't been contacted by your country, well we are in V.P. cancelling room."
"If they want to get you back they'll have to come get you themselves."
