Cecilia's POV
"Very good. Did you send the roots outside?" I asked him as I stirred the medicinal herbs boiling in the fire.
"Yeah I did." He came in, selecting leaves from its branch as he sat down.
"I can't believe I'm doing this with you." He grumbled.
"What do you mean? I did ask you to come here. You know." I curled my lips, smiling in mockery.
"You of all people know that Elina hate the smell of medicine. You knew she would rattle out and was indirectly asking me to join you." He said with a short chuckle and I laughed.
He was right. I couldn't stay here alone after what happened to me in the forest.
I have been afraid and sensitive. Being with someone would only take my mind away from the incident.
"Well, you are right. It's not like you have some emergency at work, right?" I raised an anxious brow.
"I don't but I will be leaving soon." He said and I looked at him.
"To where?" I asked anxiously.
