Denver's POV
I haven a sigh and opened my eyes when the car suddenly stopped.
The car window went down as Adolphus walked to the back seat.
I was sitting down with Laura beside me.
"What's going on?" I asked him calmly.
It wasn't up to an hour since we arrived at the human city, New York urban city to be precise.
"We have run out of gas, can you step out for a few seconds while I head to the closest station with the driver?" He asked courteously, staring at me and Laura.
"Fine." I exhaled heavily.
No doubt, I wanted a breather and it would be for my own good.
I stepped down from the car with Laura and while she leaned on the car, scratching something on her nails, I walked shortly away from the car.
I sighed heavily again, staring at the gloomy sky. In less than an hour, it might become dark.
