Cecilia's POV
"Bella!" Elina and Elbert called my name as soon as I stepped into the living room.
They looked excited and anxious to see me but I was downcasted and not in the mood to speak or react in any way.
"My staff told me how you left the hospital without conducting the operation. He didn't give me full details." Elbert began.
"I called you and tried to reach for you but it was impossible. I have been here since noon but see when you are coming." He said conclusively with a sigh.
"Is everything okay?" He asked, staring at me with anxiety lingering in his eyes.
I couldn't respond to them. The fact that I was doing something I wasn't comfortable with, the fact that my life had taken a big wave gave me no choice but to bend to its curve.
"Bella, you are keeping us in suspense. Is everything okay?" Elina asked, sounding concerned while urging me with her voice.
