A small orb of light sparked in front of the man's hand, gradually expanding with a violent crackle. It slightly lit up the room around it becoming more intense and all Flash could do was stay there and watch.
"FLASH" roared Peter before throwing his bag at the man's face causing his ball of lightning to zap behind him and the opposing wall, leaving a charred black. Peter ran towards Flash quickly helping him up, before they sprinted out through the back door.
Peter and Flash ran through the back into the AstroTurf panting without looking back. The man quickly followed out the back door and charged another ball of electricity shooting it towards them. It whizzed past them scorching apart of fake grass and starting a small fire.
The man stopped his pursuit and glared at the two as they were running away before returning and heading back into the changing room.
Flash and Peter, eventually stumbled onto the ground and gasped for breath, though Peter was faking it. There was a small silence before Flash told Peter "Thank you. Thank you so much, Peter"
Peter slightly grinned before replying "No problem Flash".
"We better leave and get to safety, retard. No way in hell do I want to lightning cunt again," said Flash before getting back up to his feet and reaching out a hand for Peter, "Come on".
Peter took his hand and Flash pulled him and started jogging towards the back, where the rest of the team were currently heading.
"Thanks, but I'm going to head back," replied Peter.
"What! are you fucking stupid. We barely survived that fucker and you want to go back?" shouted Flash.
"I can help" replied Peter.
Flash giggled out of shock, "You really are a nutcase, Get yourself killed then" growled Flash before turning his back on Peter, jogging away.
Peter looked at Flash for a while as he walked away before heading back to the school. He webbed his suit on a large apartment complex just across from the school and was going to retrieve it, so he could use his powers without revealing his identity.
He made it back to the changing room and slowly walked back, not making a sound. He maneuvered around the busted door and fallen makeshift barricade. He peeked his head out and looked out into the hallway. It was now deathly quiet and even the smallest noise would seem like a scream.
"PLEASE NO!" was yelled from down the hall. The man stood tall above the two girls wailing and huddling together. He held a phone in his hand and sparks of electricity zapped from, into his gauntlets.
He started to charge his gauntlet again, before being interrupted by a basketball hitting him right in the head, with a surprising amount of force. He turned around to see the same kid that threw a bag in his face, standing there staring at him.
'Fuck' Peter thought to himself. This was definitely not what he had planned. He just picked a fight with him, before he could even get his suit.
The man scowled at Peter. He couldn't see it through the mask, but Peter most definitely felt it. He turned his gauntlet back to the girls and began to charge it up again while staring at Peter.
Peter tried looking for another thing he could lob at him and found a quite large metal bottle. He quickly picked it up and threw it. The man moved his head out of the way, but the bottle landed write on his gauntlet knocking off a few wires. It sparked for a while and the sphere or lightning grew larger than normal and the man used his other hand to try and control it.
Peter's spidey sense wait haywire and something akin to a second voice told him to dodge in his head constantly.
He then shot it towards Peter and the ball was large enough to cover the entire corridor. The girls quickly got up and ran away while the man looked down the hall as his electric sphere chased Peter. Peter jumped out the window before it could hit him and he ran towards the opposing rooftop.
The man fiddled with the gauntlet for a while putting the wires back whilst walking towards where Peter jumped out. He looked out the window to see no one there. He was confused there was no way he could run so fast to already make it out of the premises. He didn't let it bother him any longer before continuing to try and kill some more students.
While Peter was hoping on the roof trying to get his costume on as quickly as he could police sirens sang through the streets. The cars reached the front of the school along with some swat cars and they stopped their cars in a way, that they acted like a barricade.
"Really? Now they arrive" muttered Peter while putting on his mask.
Heaps of officers walked out their cars and started to deliberate what to do. A man in full swat gear was talking through his radio and giving orders to the others.
What Peter was doing wasn't exactly legal. He doubted that the police would just let a vigilante in some sporting clothes through into a school shooting.
While the officers paid attention to formulating a plan and keeping their eyes on the school, Peter jumped to the nearby rooftops until he reached the back of the school.
He tightly squeezed through an open window and sneaked into the classroom on the second floor. There where a number of students hiding under the desks, trying to keep their fear silent while staring at the strange man that entered through the window.
Peter signed them to be quit hushing everyone there before putting a thumbs up. He sneaked into the hallway. Like downstairs it was desolate with student bags and such scattered across the floor.
"AHH" someone yelled as they ran past past Peter, coming from the set of stairs.
Peter could here the man walking up the stairs with a thud, becoming louder. He stood in the middle of the hallway and stared at Peter, "Who might you be?".
"Just your friendly neighbourhood Spiderman, at your service" replied Peter slightly bowing.
A large grin appeared on the mans face before he spoke, "Finally a superhuman. I can't wait to watch you die"
