As per tradition of the nezuras, everyone lined up to introduce themselves to one another.
"Nice to meet you! Nice to meet you! And you, and you, and you, and you-"
"This might be the first time my hands have touched this many people."
The welcoming side of the party must stand still while the newcomers must move and go through the line of meeting with all of them. In this case, the usalians.
And because the nezuras still don't have any means of communication to the usalians, they performed their greeting with a variation of handshakes, bowing, thumbs up, and friendly hug.
It took quite a while for the whole 102 nezuras to finally introduce themselves to the initial inhabitants. Kurisunetamayo also joined the introduction, as she tried her best, fumbling the pronunciation of the words taught by Nagan.
"Thank, you, for, accommodating, us!"
After the social greetings, came the rumored feast from the homeworld residents. After Owen told all of the usalian the true backstory of what the nezuras went through, nearly all of them were put into tears.
"That's so cruel!"
"So we're actually having it nice here in the homeworld…"
"Huwaaaa!" Sobbed Bluebell as she hugged the nearest nezuras. "It must be scary out there!"
It raised enough empathy and gratitude of the usalians to do better, and also doing their best to make the nezuras at home. Not a minute after, the embers on the grill within the kitchen area were lit, as the designated chef of the Usalian, Fernleaf, started to move her hand faster than what eyes could see with her eyes still teary from the story.
"We will give them the best food they ever taste, orra!"
""Orra!""
While the logistic team burned their coal of motivation on preparing a grand feast for 102 people, the expedition team were also lit aflame as they started a hunting and foraging spree on the wayward world.
"We will deplete the herbs in this area if we harvest any further!"
"20 meters to the northeast, there are an abundant amount of them. Be Careful, some are still unidentified."
"We shall lay claim all of the forest's spheruts!"
Meanwhile, the vanguards were in their own bubble as they decided to make these animals devoid of skytalons and figwalkers. Some of the shadowy tiger beasts, currently dubbed as 'Vanther', had also been sighted near the perimeters. Hunting them wasn't the most efficient but it was necessary to fight them out of this area as they could just stumble on the outpost and pierce through all of the defenses with their metal hide.
Huffalos weren't an option. Killing a single of them, no matter where they are, will always trigger a large stampede for unknown reasons.
"Get the hell away!" shouted Karasaki as he caved one of the pursuing vanther liveless. Her polearm weapon had been switched into a hammer made by Droste. Alongside the katana she had for anything other than the shadowy beast, her fighting prowess had been greatly amplified. "Hahaha! I love this hammer!"
The features include a large and blunt head made from a unique formation of sturdy rock found near the body of a cliff on the east, resembling a mallet or war hammer, mounted on a sturdily thick wood shaft with two comfortable grips. In the end, Karasaki used the hammer singlehandedly.
Each horizontal swing of the hammer was enough to create a wave of wind in its general direction.
"You destroy mother nature faster than the duo lumberjack, to the point that it's perplexing." Meanwhile, Hopscotch didn't need any weapon to kill one of the vanther, as she knew had fought enough of them to blitz through their pack formation and rushed to crush their neck like an egg. "Next time, get a smaller weapon."
Hopscotch had also been diligently training her psycast enough for it to lay an effect on her physique and regeneration prowess. Thanks to it, she became a much bolder of a fighter that took greater risk in the effort of finishing the fight as fast as she can.
"... I don't wanna." As for Jingo, knowing that her DP-1 crossbow was not specialized to fight against a high armored enemies, she work greatly as a harasser and a distractor that went in and out of the fight untouched and unnoticed, leaving numerous great windows of vulnerability for her fellow vanguards to abuse.
"I'm not referring to you, you're good, Jingo," Hopscotch commented.
Jingo appeared without her camouflage ability for a brief moment, giving a thumbs up, before making herself blur with the surroundings—navigating the battlefield faster than a cheetah.
She also used her airsoft gun as a distraction when a one meter projectile of wood didn't make enough sounds or impact to distract the vanther. She waited for better weaponry from Droste when it came to armor piercing capability.
"Scrumptious! This might be the first time we managed to vanquish these beasts!" Karasaki hummed joyfully. "Our arsenal will benefit greatly after processing their armor!"
There was a hint of afternoon orange arriving on the horizon of the homeworld's sky, rushing to see the rumored new residents of the Kingdom of Lunatic Kaleidoscope.
As such, the flaming compassion and sincerity of the usalians made the sombering color of the sky feel faster than it was supposed to be, as if their urge to convey their kindliness was something they enjoy carrying into action.
Nearly cramping the center of the kingdom where the xmas tree was once erected, most of the nezuras could be seen brimming with excitement as they frolic around their new place of home. Kurisunetamyo could be seen extremely busy, as she tried her best to regulate the nezuras' behavior to avoid any kind of mistakes and destruction.
It was special to the nezuras that they were more sensitive to the content of souls within everything in existence, and they seemed to be visibly extra fond of the xmas tree at the current moment.
