"For fuck's sake," Shin hissed, looking at the helicopter.
He wasn't even surprised—just annoyed. Now he would have to use his plan B.
Shin didn't waste any time. With inhuman agility, he jumped off the roof's building, grabbed a ledge to slow his fall, and landed gracefully on the ground. There, he looked around for a moment before spotting what he needed.
A dozen meters away was a metal lid of a sewer entrance. Shin ran up to it, unlocking the lock even before reaching it, and tore the lid open.
The stench of the underground immediately assaulted his nose. He winced slightly, but quickly adapted to it. Without delay, Shin used the metal ladder below to descend into the sewers, closing the lid behind him.
The ladder didn't go deep. Five meters below, Shin's feet hit the concrete floor of the sewer. Then he pulled out his flashlight and threw some light on his surroundings.
