Shin swung his hand and threw the crowbar at the approaching enemy, using his power to aid himself. The crowbar flew like an arrow right at Iashkawa-Jun's head—and went right through it without slowing down.
The temporarily intangible half-demon smirked triumphantly into Shin's face and raised their hand. Iashkawa-Jun's claws swiped at Shin's face with the speed that blew wind at his skin.
'Fast!'
All Shin had time to do was lowering his head so his helmet would take the blow.
It was strong enough to make Shin stumble two steps back, and leave a dent in the steel helmet. Even through it Shin felt the impact–it made his head ring for a moment.
But he didn't lose his concentration.
"Ssso weak!" Iashkawa-Jun shouted, dashing forward for a follow-up strike.
Shin raised his arms to block, grinning despite his situation. His armor was now covered in sharp spikes, promising pain to anyone who would attack it directly.
