Shin pulled himself fully out of the hatch and stared at the girl with widened eyes.
She noticed him. Her hands clenched into fists at her sides, her face paled, and even from the distance Shin could feel the strength of her glare.
But she was thirty meters away; maybe Shin didn't see her face well enough from that distance. He had to get closer—he had to make sure.
At a distance of fifteen meters, Shin was sure. She had the same face, the same clothing. Only her smell was different, but still familiar to him.
"Ara Jun. I don't know how… but did you really come back from the dead?" Shin called out. Suddenly, he felt like grinning—almost giddy. "Did you realize how wrong you were to deny me your soul? Did you come to fix your mistake and give it to me?"
The paleness of Jun's face changed with a blush of anger. For a moment, she just opened and closed her mouth, before pointing an accusing finger at Shin.
