A figure moving alone in the forest as through dragging his feet.
It was Yu Tu, and he kept wondering how he got himself in this place with two suns and six moons.
"This is looks like the ruins mentioned in the classes, I didn't pay much attention, but the different number of moons and sun shows it is alright." Yu Tu was able to see that the situation he was in was not ideal.
It was impossible to just enter the Ruins like that unless it was an explored, even so, it was dangerous.
For the first time he realized the Wilderness was a dangerous place.
The ruins where considered less dangerous to the depths of the Wilderness, but it was almost impossible to escape just based on virtue of one's strength.
The same could not be said about the ruins. Each had its own mechanisms of operation that determined how things went. From traps to even tests that depend on the nature of the owners.
Right! The ruins have owners who might have passed away and left behind tests or even in some cases traps to just get even with anyone that got in.
Some might want to gain another chance to life through body possessions, as such anything could happen.
Majority of the time, ruins are dangerous. For anyone that explores them, luck is very important.
The military also take over the task of exploration for many reasons and the main reason is prevention of threats from escaping the ruins.
Some in the form of body possession, from evil or even twisted beings trapped inside for a long time.
This was probably something they had leaned the hard way, to be able to come up with such a thought. The act of allowing Chengshan to send students that have yet to start strengthening themselves into the ruins was also calculated.
Regardless of the outcome, it was impossible for any of them to be a threat. In the case some being took possession of a body, it had to start cultivating a fresh, the time required to accomplish anything was also important.
If things where to come to this, Luo and Chengshan could handle it.
It was because regardless of how good the resources and exercises present in the ruins, one could not jump from a mortal to the same stage as them.
The path of evolution is the same and requires time for the body to adapt and change even for those considered geniuses without bottlenecks.
All the bad information about ruins flashed in Yu Tu's mind since the black sun appeared in the sky.
It was instilling fear in his head, and this was about the entire ruins. The black sun was thus in this secret realm for a reason.
Li Jun started to hide from it, the moment it appeared, and this is because he felt something omnius about it.
All those exposed to it, where facing their fears and the black sun seemed to magnify it.
The ruins Yu Tu was in, was the same Li Jun was in, and the situation with the suns was simple.
In the sky, two suns existed and at the moment their brilliance was balanced, but it might not be the case the whole time. When Li Jun had just opened the eyes, he did not perceive it, but at the moment it was able to balance the other sun.
Perhaps it was more like a cycle and then the dark sun domainated the sky, things might go awry.
Yu Tu did not understand this, or to be more specific, he was focused on the task at hand. The only problem was he had to withstand the black sun.
At this time, he had no idea what would happen if he did fail to leave the ruins. The destination they where given Was his goal, but not anymore.
What he failed to know was more students where in this ruin. On the outside, even Chengshan was unsatisfied with the number of students he had sent in, thinking of taking a few more.
Such an act was crazy, but thankfully Luo stopped him, if he did that, something big might happen and at that time, nothing could save him.
When Yu Tu was struggling with the influence of the dark sun, trying to pollute him, the others where also facing different situations.
Emily Wu, the first person to enter, had been in the ruins longer. At this moment she stood before a massive decapilitated open gate.
It was leading underground, and she did not seem to be scared of approaching.
On the gate, even though the words written where foreign, she could understand the meaning.
"Forbidden grounds? What does that mean" she was curious, and this explained why she approached.
But even so, this was not normal behavior, it was under the influence of the dark sun. Emily might be the kind of person interested knowledge, but she valued her life even more.
This action just now was not rational, and far from her ussual self.
When she was about three steps away from the very entrance, she suddenly stopped with fear on her face.
"What is happening? How come I am approaching this gate without even knowing whether it is safe?" She asked herself doubtfully.
It was not because she wanted an answer, rather she knew something was wrong. Just looking at it, she could not help but feel it resembled a vortex.
Her mind kept warning her to retreat, but the body did not follow the instructions.
"I was just trying to save myself, who knew I threw myself into a ruin?" She was lamenting her bad luck.
Truth was, she had caused others to be sent in this place. Her actions even though not intentional ended up affecting a lot of people. I doubt any of them would be interested in hearing her explaination if they knew about this.
But since no one knew of it, including her, she focused on the already collapsed entrance, with her sight, she could see it was too old. She even had hesitation about moving foward.
As the impulse to enter the gate become stronger, the more wary she become. Even so, it was impossible to retreat.
Intense throbing from her heart intensified everytime he showed signs of retreating. It was as though his life would be lost if dared to retreat, he could not advance either.
"Since the black appeared, I seem to have lost my rationality. Normally, it would be impossible for me to take such risks. This is even more so in the ruins, unless the black sun is lowering my guard of this place." He thought about this before looking warily at the gate.
Even in cases where benefits are involved, Emily has always been the kind of person to analyze things thoroughly.
She suddenly felt that this ruins where not that cool anymore. With little careless, anyone might become history in such places.
Even though she was aware of the danger she might face once she entered, she could not help herself to want to take another step forward.
She thought all this was due to the black sun, but she realized as long as she set her sights on the entrance for some time.
"What is going on?" She asked herself, as she felt the condition she was in.
" It seems like I have to become careful in the future." Just standing before the entrance, it made her think it was standing before the entrance into an abbyss.
She did not know what might happen the next second, but her entire body was covered in sweat.
She did not even realize this until her eyes finished observing everything she had taken another step foward.
"Even though I want to enter this gate and see what exists on the other side, fear of the unknown has taken root." She thought as she looked to the back.
"Is there something at the back ready to attack me at any moment. Or is this the mechanisms in this place forcing me to enter the forbidden grounds." She was incapable of finding out the cause of the fear, and let things happen naturally.
At this junture only an idiot would need to be told of the dangers present in this environment.
But in the same way, she realized it was almost impossible for her to stop herself, and she would end up in the gate one way or another.
"Since I can't stop myself from entering anyway, it is best to take initiative." As she thought of this, she took two more steps forward.
When she took the final step, and finally arrived in the desolate entrance.
Other than the ancient atmosphere at the gate, everything had been destroyed by time.
Beyond the gate she was passing, she could see nothing.
"I can't discover anything, but I just feel a sense of danger. It is just that compared the outside, this place is bearable." she could feel the impact of the dark sun on her was wearing off.
She smiled slightly, after all the black sun had been putting her under a massive psychological shadow.
In the moment she was able to lift that weight of her shoulders, even though still in danger.
He had some regrets about jumping into the water, but in this point in time, she realized it was not of any benefit to him.
