Chapter 59 - Information

After strolling along the street for quite some time, Mr. Zhou and Kai, found themselves standing in front of a fancy two-story coffee shop, conveniently located near their school. The moment they pushed open the door, the delicious fragrance of freshly brewed coffee tickled their noses, instantly waking them up their senses.

Greeted by a friendly waiter, they were promptly escorted to the second floor where the VIP room awaited. As they reached their destination, the waiter respectfully bowed and excused himself, leaving the duo to their purpose.

A gentle knock resonated through the air as Mr. Zhou announced their arrival to the occupant of the room.

"Mr. Long. I've brought Kai." Mr. Zhou said after knocking on the door.

A voice, undoubtedly belonging to someone named Mr. Long, responded with a simple "Come in."

Without hesitation, Mr. Zhou swung open the door but took a step to the side, allowing Kai to enter first. Setting foot inside, Kai's gaze fell upon a man who exuded a self-assured aura, sitting in a relaxed manner. Clad in a sleek, slim-fitting black suit with matching trousers. The man's glasses added an air of intellectual allure. He also appeared to be young, in his twenties.

Curiously enough, Kai could sense a certain connection between himself and the man. It was as if their bodies shared a secret bond, reminiscent of the powerful energy they had cultivated through their intense training sessions. He could also feel the destructive power hiding in his thin frame, just like him.

Mr. Zhou carefully closed the door behind him, his senses on high alert. He stood outside, serving as a guardian to ensure no one could eavesdrop on their conversation. Meanwhile, Kai positioned himself opposite the man, ready to engage in their discussion.

"Nice to meet you, or rather, we finally met Junior Brother, Kai. I'm Long Hao," the man introduced himself, extending his hand towards Kai.

Kai graciously accepted the handshake, replying politely, "Nice to meet you, Senior Hao."

Long Hao's smile widened, and he quickly interjected, "Don't be polite, just call me big brother." They released their grip, and Kai's face conveyed a hint of discomfort at the title.

"I'm sorry, I'm not good with the word 'big brother'," Kai confessed, memories of his past flooding back.

Seeing that it seems he messed up, causing Kai's mood to distort, a chill suddenly ran down his spine as he looked behind him. He felt that his life was suddenly endangered, causing his heart to palpitate rapidly. However, there was nothing there, only a cold-looking white wall. He panicked and looked around the room, but luckily, there was nothing except for Kai. He sighed in relief and quickly apologized.

"Oh! I'm really sorry, it's not my intention. You can call me Uncle Hao instead," Long Hao offered, bowing slightly to show his sincerity.

Having arrived just the previous night from the Central, he doesn't have the information about Kai's past. When that man called him and asked him to personally come and help his disciple, of course, he accepted without a second thought. He even canceled all the important meetings just to come and help Kai.

He was also intrigued about the young man who caught that man's eye, someone famous for not taking any disciples. And as expected, just like his Master, the disciple is also a monster. He also felt a connection between their bodies as they shared the same source, but compared to him, Kai's body was more profound and cultivated to almost perfection.

If he remembered correctly, that man only took a disciple 2 years ago, and the result was more than he could have imagined. Not only that, it seems that Kai also achieved the BodyBuilding Stage in just 2 years, and the power he exudes is more powerful compared to the so-called geniuses he has encountered so far in the BodyBuilding Stage.

As Long Hao sat there, pondering over the unbelievable transformation that the young man in front of him had undergone in just two short years, he finally heard Kai's voice break the long silence.

"It's fine. Let's get down to business," Kai said, a smile spreading across his face.

Long Hao couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over him, seeing Kai smile. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but meeting Kai was more exhausting than dealing with those high and mighty big bosses he often encountered. Nevertheless, Long Hao kept his weariness hidden behind his professional demeanor.

Adjusting his glasses, Long Hao nodded and reached into his bag, pulling out a folder and placing it on the table before Kai.

Curiosity sparked in Kai's eyes as he looked at the folder. "What's this?"

"These are the documents of the Wang Family. There's a lot of intriguing information in there that might be of use to you," Long Hao replied, observing Kai closely.

"Seriously?" Kai asked, his shock evident as he eagerly took hold of the folder and began flipping through its contents.

Long Hao nodded. "Yes. I'm sorry I couldn't gather more information on the Xia Family too, I was pressed for time and could only focus on gathering details about that delinquent."

Kai shook his head. "No, Uncle, this is more than enough for now. Thank you so much for your help." Kai said, gratitude shining in his eyes.

A small smile graced Long Hao's lips as he lifted his coffee cup to his mouth and took a satisfying sip.

Kai scans the documents and as he flips the pages, he is really amazed at how detailed the information is. Even the childhood of Wang Mang's parents is recorded. It seems that the one who raised their family to the middle class is Wang Mang's mother, a genius businesswoman who graduated from a prestigious school. She was born into a lower-class family and because of her business intelligence, she caught the attention of the Ministry of Education, who gave her a full scholarship for her studies until she graduated.

When she graduated, many wealthy families wanted to take her for themselves. However, she was too prideful and didn't want to be under someone else's hand. So she went to Azure City and built her own company and businesses.

'Then, why did she go under the Xia Family?' Kai wondered.

Kai's interest is piqued by this woman. He also wonders how a son of this kind of woman ended up being a delinquent. However, his question is being answered when he looks at the information about Wang Mang's father.
