As they finished their breakfast, Reika took charge of doing the dishes, while Kai excused himself to take a shower and get dressed in his school uniform. They walked toward the car garage together, but when they arrived, Reika noticed that there was no car in sight.

Reika's face turned as red as an apple upon hearing this, and she cutely glared at Kai. "I-I'm actually wearing a new pair. I always carry extras just in case," she stammered.
Unfortunately, the tail end of her sentence got swallowed up in a barely audible mosquito voice that only she could hear.
"Haha, that's great then. I can't let you go commando. It's something only I should have the privilege of seeing," Kai teased.
"Muu... You're already so naughty this early in the morning," Reika playfully exclaimed, then moved towards the other side of the car before opening the window.
Her eyes were shining with sheer excitement. She had never seen a car quite like this before, even though her older sisters had. It was like stepping into a whole new world.
Kai smiled and shook his head, then proceeded to climb into the driver's seat. Once settled, they both fastened their seat belts and eagerly explored the car like children who had just received a new toy.
"This car is awesome, Kai-kun. But it only has two seats. Li-er won't be able to come with us," Reika marveled.
"You're right... Wait, are you okay with me taking Lian Li?" Kai inquired.
Reika tilted her head curiously. "Hmmm? Didn't I already tell you it's fine? I spoke to Li-er about it yesterday."
"What? When? You never mentioned anything to me. I've been waiting for you to tell me straight up," Kai replied, baffled.
"Now you know." Reika's lips curled upward, and she stopped saying more as she didn't want to talk about this. All she cared about was her time with Kai.
