Chapter 16 - Throw money!

Throwing money as tips may not be a big deal for those present; it's just the simplest means.

After all, this is a place where money flows freely, and they have seen countless extravagant ways of spending dollars.

However, when the quantity of money reaches a tipping point, it can be eye-popping, making the blood boil.

For example, at this moment, Chou Ping casually tossed out a stack of bills, and the money fluttered like snowflakes.

He continued to throw money left and right, pulling out two more stacks from his luggage, throwing them into the air with a hearty laugh.

"I don't plan to take any of this money with me. Take as much as you can!" he declared. While speaking, he continued to throw money, and in the blink of an eye, Chou Ping had thrown away hundreds of thousands.

Half an hour later, Chou Ping confidently walked out of the casino's entrance. Looking back, he remembered the first time he left a casino after losing all his savings and loans during a previous cycle.

He hailed a taxi and, upon getting in, threw two hundred dollars.

"Respected sir, where would you like to go?"

With two hundred dollars, the driver suddenly became enthusiastic and respectful. Regardless of the destination, these two hundred dollars ensured his basic income for the day.

Chou Ping furrowed his brow. Just moments ago, he walked out of the casino with a substantial amount of money, feeling triumphant. Now, he was being asked, and he genuinely didn't know where to go.

"Where do you think I can spend money the fastest?" he asked the driver.

"Uh... sir, I think the place you just came out from could probably help you spend money the fastest," the driver replied.

Chou Ping rolled his eyes. Could he tell the driver that he won millions in there?

"No, I'm tired of gambling. I need something more exciting!" Chou Ping's question seemed to stir some restlessness in the middle-aged driver.

"How about robbing a bank? That would be absolutely thrilling, and if you get caught, you can still spend all your money in there!" the driver suggested.

Chou Ping looked at the driver with disdain. Was this guy crazy?

Oh, the car!

An idea flashed in Chou Ping's mind. Almost every man has a dream car, and he had one too—the Lamborghini sports car. In the previous cycle, he had fulfilled this dream by renting a Lamborghini for $20,000.

However, that Lamborghini had changed hands multiple times, and it wasn't truly his. Now that he had money, why not buy a Lamborghini of his own? And he wanted the big one, not the small one!

In the United States, with money, you could enjoy the best and most considerate services, saving a lot of hassle. For example, within an hour, Chou Ping was already on the road in his own Lamborghini.

Just a light touch on the accelerator, and the deep roar of the engine, like a plane flying by, made Chou Ping tremble slightly, and his heartbeat accelerated.

He almost regretted getting lost in the gentle town for so long, leaving him only half a day to spend with the super car he admired.

Vroom!

The accelerator roared, and the large red super car turned into a red lightning bolt, speeding wildly down the road. Now, Chou Ping started to think about where he should go.

"Go to Lucy's place; she's probably still waiting for me!" he decided.

Driving the latest Lamborghini, only he knew that there wasn't much difference between this and the night patrol in luxurious attire.

And he had convinced Lucy yesterday that she was his lover from the previous life. Today, he should at least spend time with her, especially at the end of this cycle.

With a goal in mind, Chou Ping stepped on the accelerator, and the car quickly headed towards the long street.

Half an hour later, the attention-grabbing Lamborghini confidently parked at the entrance of a Michelin restaurant, with seemingly no other cars around.

Whether he could park here or not was no longer a concern for Chou Ping. He could confidently use his money to buy off any traffic tickets from the police.

He got out of the car and walked into the restaurant.

"Oh, Chou, why are you here at this time? I haven't finished work yet!" Lucy's surprised voice came.

"Maybe you should sit first, and I'll see if I can take a leave," Chou Ping suggested with a grin.

Lucy rushed forward and covered Chou Ping's mouth with her hand. "Chou, you can't say such things. The salary here is quite good, and I don't want to lose this job!"

Chou Ping nodded thoughtfully. Lucy's answer seemed to indirectly reveal that their manager wasn't a pleasant person to deal with.

Then Chou Ping smiled again, seizing Lucy's hand that reached out to cover his mouth. With the other hand in his pocket, he took out a box.

"I picked out this gift for you before coming. I hope you like it."

Lucy instinctively took the box, noticing the exquisite packaging.

"Chou, I really like this gift!"

Chou Ping smiled slightly. "Open it; if you don't like it, you can exchange it for another style at that store."

Lucy blushed, carefully opened the box, and when she saw the exquisite watch inside, she couldn't help covering her mouth again.

Patek Philippe—a name that represented luxury not only in China but also in developed Western countries.

"Chou, this watch must be very expensive. I really don't need to wear such an expensive watch. Let's return it!"

"It's not expensive, just under three hundred thousand. Consider it my heartfelt gift. You're only allowed to say whether you like it or not, not whether you want it or not."

Chou Ping's domineering words made Lucy's heart flutter like a wild horse running rampant.

"Chou... you're so good!"

Lucy, full of excitement, blushed and shyly said, her eyes sparkling with little stars.

"Lucy, call your manager over!"

"Ah! Chou, what do you want to do?"

Chou Ping approached Lucy, cupping her face with both hands. "Be good, call him over, and you'll know."

"Stop!"

At this moment, a sharp voice rang out. Chou Ping frowned and turned around, seeing a heavily made-up woman approaching.

She grabbed Lucy and said unceremoniously, "Lucy, it's working hours. You're actually seducing customers here. Are you trying to pack up and leave from here?"
