Chapter 25 - False Information

'I'm sorry, Flower.'

'I hope that you will like the Flowers. Although they're beautiful but they aren't as beautiful as you.'

After reading all this inwardly, Flower's eyes scrolled to the lowest part of the note as she saw that a written was also there.

'I love you.' Reading this, Flower scoffed.

Flower rolled her eyes, she frowned her face trivially and then she sighed. Flower knew that she had less reasons to be angry at him now since Anthony had already healed her throat to some extent and now she could converse again with ease—although it still hurts.

And Anthony had even sent her an apology note and apologized through it sincerely, plus a pleasant smelling bouquet. But still, Flower was a little bit upset with him. Since she could have died due to Anthony's infidelity, and what if she had gotten injured severely to the extent that Anthony wouldn't have been able to heal her? Although she was planning on committing suicide before, nevertheless, now she had realized that her life was really worth living and precious to herself, so therefore she was still holding unto some grudges against Anthony.

Flower took in a deep breath. She then reasoned that she shouldn't focus on getting angry at Anthony, he was the reason why she was still alive till today and not have been feasted on by wild animals or experiencing hell or heaven right now. Anthony was the one who gave her life a new beginning and saved her from the clutches of death. He had ordered clothes for her, and had even ordered that her favorite meals must always be prepared for her. Thus, Flower assumed all that as repayment for his bad habits and sins. So she was going to forgive him and focus on something that are more important—escaping. And now they don't owe eachother anything.

Flower closed the note and attached it back to the bouquet. She sighed once again, she smiled, utterly determine not to let her thoughts about Anthony ruin her happiness. Flower was clearly in a good mood.

She yawned and got up from her bed, Then she attempted some stretching and exercise.

Later on, she sat back on the bed. This was when she began to assimilate what Regina had informed her about earlier. She knew that her statement was consisting of some words which she had overlooked.

Flower clearly remembered that Regina firmly stated, 'Young Master came here this morning and dropped it for you before going out.'

'Going out?' she asked herself inwardly. Then after pondering about it, she turned her face towards Regina.

"Um… Mrs Regina. Is Anthony around?" she asked.

"No he's not around," Regina replied amidst her needlework. She smiled, noticing that Flower was now willing to talk about Anthony, unlike yesterday when she was overly irritated by the mention of his name.

"Oh…"

Anthony not being around made Flower began to put two and two together. She could vividly remember that Anthony had once told her that no one else lives in this provinces, except for the four of them and wild animals. However, presently, Regina was now saying that Anthony went out this morning. Meaning that there must a place nearby where multiple people resides which must have been the place where Anthony might have gone to. Since Anthony couldn't possibly go out just to meet with no one.

'Liar!' Flower frowned.

Which means, Anthony had been filling Flower up with nothing but mouthful of lies and deceit about the fact that no one else reside in this province. A ray of hope illuminated upon Flower knowing that if she could manage to escape to any nearby fortress then if she turns out to be fortunate again then someone might be kind enough to help her back to Florida—her hometown.

Flower's frown promptly switched into a genuine smile. For some reasons, she felt like heavens was finally showing her some sincere kindness which she truly deserved in the first place. All she just had to do was to find a way to escape out of this hellish mansion and find her way out.

"Thank goodness!" she mumbled with an harmless smile.

Then afterwards a thought popped up on her head. Since Anthony isn't around today, no one would be able to stop her even if she decided that she wanted to escape today. She felt that if she was able to cook up a perfect escaping plan, then she should be able to escape this night while Regina and Horatio are asleep.

"When will Anthony be back then?" Flower asked Regina. "Today?" She asked impatiently. Wanting to be prompt in knowing when Anthony will be back so that she would be able to instigate her ulterior motives when he's away.

Giving it a short thought, Regina sighed. "I'm not sure of when he will be back. Sometimes he might stay away for at least two to three days. It depends on his decision. So honestly, I'm clueless about when he will be back," Regina stated an honest reply.

Although Flower has the right to not believe her words. But for some reasons she did. She beamed, appearing satisfied by Regina's words and especially the fact that it might take at least two to three days for Anthony to be back.

'So far I'm feeling better now. And Anthony isn't around and it might even take him up to at least two to three days for him to arrive back at the mansion…' Flower smiled more.

'…today is the perfect day to execute a swift plan. If I can manage to lure Regina away from this room and have her do some insignificant things just to keep her away. I can just ask her to make me a delicious meal to keep her away from here.'

'Then I would…'

Flower's thought were interrupted by Regina who had been hollering to her for a long time now. But Flower hadn't been able to accommodate Regina's words into her ears due to her plannings on how to escape from this creepy environment and Anthony.

Regina had imprinted more pressure to her voice so that Flower would be able to hear her unobstructively. "Young Lady…!" she called. Seeing that Young Lady's attention has been grasped, Regina smiled as usual, then she continued, "I see that you're lost in space. If I may ask, what burdens your thoughts, Young Lady?"

Of course Flower wasn't going to inform Regina about her plans and tactics to escape from this hellish mansion. She wasn't a fool, not an imbecile or a moron. She would only be able to speak her true feelings and thoughts to Regina if she was under a spell—or hypnotized—or a programmed robot. And presently she wasn't indulged in any of those. So therefore, rapidly, she shoved her ponderings aside and payed ultimate attention to reality.

"Nothing," Flower uttered without really thinking it through. She only said the first thing that came to her mind, and thankfully for her, it wasn't gibberish. And actually it was still more acceptable. Then she threw another question towards Regina so that the current conversation topics will be smoothly diverted.

"Where did Anthony go to?"

"Honestly, I don't know," Regina said.

Flower sighed and looked downed. Well she wasn't utterly surprised that Regina was unwilling to converse with her about Anthony's whereabouts. She was used to them always keeping secrets from her knowledge. Thus she wasn't really bewildered in the least.

However it didn't matter to Flower that they were not telling her about Anthony, all that matters to her now was that she already had a plan about how she was planning on escaping from this infernal. She smirked diabolically.

"Okay then," she replied Regina with a little rudeness. Not really believing the fact that she didn't know anything about Anthony's whereabouts. "Why were you calling me then. I'm sure you didn't call me just to ask about my thoughts, right?"

"Oh why yes," Regina said. "I wanted to inform you that I've already prepared your medicine and embellished it on the table over there." She pointed towards the table.

Flower guessed right. She knew that Regina wanted to say something at first. However, the fact that Flower wasn't quick in retaliating to Regina's question prompted Regina into asking about what caused Flower to become so lost in her thoughts to the extent of not being able to hear that she was being called.

Flower then glanced towards the table at the bitter but helpful medicine. Flower didn't know what the medicine was made up of or what it contained or even its name or even if it was illegal or poisonous. All she was aware of was that it was absolutely helpful to her health so it didn't matter.

"Sure. I'll take them. Give me some minutes, I'll quickly take my bath and then have the medicine."
