Chapter 10 - chapter 10: The Queen's Jealousy

La and Zara continue to sleep innocently together, unaware that their actions are being observed by the Queen. The Queen's eyes are wide open, taking in the scenes of the two girls as they sleep peacefully. She can see that La and Zara have bonded quickly, and that they are already showing signs of affection towards one another. The Queen's feelings are mixed; on the one hand she is jealous of their closeness and would love to be in Zara's position, but on the other hand she is amused by this development and curious to see where it goes.

Without warning, the Queen slowly enters the room and approaches the sleeping duo. She stares closely at La's face, and her body suddenly begins moving on its own, almost like instinct. She softly kisses La while the girl is asleep, wanting to mark her as her own. She wants to claim her and doesn't dare to wake La up as she is completely enamoured with her beauty.

While La is asleep, Zara is still partially awake and witnesses the Queen's actions. Zara is enraged by the Queen's possessive behavior and suddenly begins to transform physically. Her body starts to change, becoming more beastly with every passing moment. Her features shift drastically, becoming more grotesque and menacing. She's growing horns, fangs and claws while her hair is becoming wild and matted.

Zara is filled with rage and yells, "How dare you kiss my woman?!" She moves at the Queen with impressive speed, preparing to attack her. The Queen is quick to react, dodging Zara's assault and knocking her unconscious. La wakes up suddenly upon hearing the commotion and she witnesses the aftermath of all this. She sees the Queen standing before her and she sees Zara lying unconscious on the floor. La turns her attention towards the Queen, now feeling a mixture of confusion, irritation and shock at what she has just witnessed.

La asks the Queen, "With all due respect, your majesty, why are you in our room, and why is my girlfriend on the floor, looking like a wild beast?"

The Queen remains calm and composed in the face of La's anger. She responds politely, saying, "I was just checking up on you both. As for your girlfriend, she tried to attack me, so I had no choice but to defend myself. I am sorry if that has upset you."

La doesn't believe a single word of what the Queen said but she decides not to press the issue further. She gets off the bed and attempts to pick up Zara to put her on the bed, and the Queen helps her. The Queen then says, "I may take my leave now, and also you're looking very stunning."

La wonders what the Queen meant, but she realizes that she herself is also completely naked. She screams, "PERVERT!" However, the scream doesn't wake Zara up from her unconsciousness, which proves fortunate.

La is now feeling overwhelmed and unsettled by the situation that just happened. She tries to forget about the Queen's perverted behavior by returning to bed and trying to fall asleep. She can't get the Queen's words out of her mind, and she is starting to think of her as a threat to her relationship with Zara. She is starting to question whether there is more to what just happened than she initially thought.
