After La stormed out of the room, Zara excused herself as well, intent on going after her. As she leaves, the queen watches them both go, a mix of annoyance and concern on her face. Zara quickly catches up with La, who is walking briskly down the hallway. "Hey, wait up," Zara calls out.
La stops walking and turns to face Zara, a pout on her lips. "You know you're still in trouble, right?" she says teasingly. Zara rolls her eyes but can't help but smile. "Yeah, yeah, I know."
La sighs playfully, shaking her head. "Well, since you know you're in trouble, can you promise me you'll behave?" she asks, a hint of laughter in her voice. Zara grins and nods.
"I'll behave, Scout's honor," she replies, half-jokingly raising her hand in a scout's salute. La chuckles. "Good," she says. "Now let's get this shopping trip over with before those bodyguards strangle us both."
La and Zara start walking down the hallway, flanked by their ever-present bodyguards and maids.
La glances at her guards and the servants following them, a mix of amusement and annoyance on her face. "Do we really need all these people tagging along while we shop?" she asks Zara, keeping her voice low. Zara snorts. "Afraid you won't have enough time alone with me?" she teased, a smirk on her face.
La blushes faintly but tries to maintain her composure. "No, it's just...kinda overkill, don't you think?"
As they approach the grand entrance of the castle, La and Zara spot a luxurious carriage waiting for them outside. It's pulled by four majestic horses and its exterior is adorned with intricate designs and decorations. "Looks like we've got our ride," La remarks, her eyes wide with curiosity.
The servants quickly open the carriage door and usher La and Zara inside. La and Zara settle into the plush seats, feeling the soft material against their skin. The interior is just as lavish as the exterior, decked out in shimmering gold trimmings and velvet upholstery.
As the horses start trotting, moving the carriage forward, La and Zara peer out the window, taking in the sights of the grand city of the kingdom. The streets are lined with elegant buildings, manicured gardens, and bustling markets.
"This place is incredible," La murmurs, a sense of awe in her voice. "I've never seen anything like it." Zara grins, sharing in her enthusiasm. "Just wait until we actually start shopping," She says, "We might not leave with any money left afterwards."
La's eyes widen as Zara mentions they might not have any money left after shopping. Suddenly, she smacks her forehead with her palm, a look of realization on her face.
"Wait a minute," she says, her voice laced with a hint of panic. "We don't have any money, do we?" Zara looks at La, a mix of amusement and disappointment on her face. "Uh...no, I don't think so," she replies. La groans. "Great, we're officially broke."
One of the maids seated in the front of the carriage overhears their conversation and turns around to address them. She gives them a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, my Ladies, you won't need to spend your own money.
The Queen has arranged for all your expenses to be covered," the maid says. La lets out a sigh of relief, feeling a weight lifted off her shoulders. "Oh, thank goodness," she mutters. "I was starting to think we might end up selling a kidney just to buy a pencil."
Zara snickers at La's remark, jokingly suggesting, "Well, you could always pawn off some of your soul if it comes down to it." La rolls her eyes but chuckles, grateful for the reassurance.
The maid chimes in again with a hint of a smirk on her face. "And I wouldn't worry too much about running out of money, my Ladies. I hear the Queen has prepared quite a generous budget for your shopping extravaganza."
