The Queen's eyes widen as she looks at La, noticing the drastic changes that have taken place.
She quickly interrupts the argument with Zara and calls out to La, "La! Calm yourself!"
The Queen and Zara both turn their attention towards La, shocked by her transformed appearance.
La, still in her altered state, struggles to control her emotions, her eyes burning brightly and her claws and tails out. The Queen repeats her command, "La! Please calm yourself!"
Zara, seeing La in this state, is shocked and concerned. She doesn't know what triggered La's transformation or how to calm her down. She looks at the Queen for guidance, unsure of what to do.
The queen leaps out of her chair and dashes towards La, planting a passionate kiss on her despite the energy radiating from La.
Oddly enough, La seems to regain her composure at the touch of the queen's lips. Zara, enraged by the display, bolts to La and shoves the queen aside before La can react.
The guards immediately draw their swords aiming them in Zara's direction.
La attempts to soothe Zara, but she instead finds herself even more aroused by Zara's passionate display of protectiveness. "It's okay, bby," La says, her voice softer and more intimate.
The queen isn't too pleased with La's affection towards Zara, but she swallows her annoyance. "Guards, stand down," the queen orders, begrudgingly.
The guards slowly lower their swords, but Zara remains visibly tense and protective. She refuses to let her guard down, still glaring at the guards.
La tries to maintain a calm demeanor, despite her own emotions running high. She gently touches Zara's arm, trying to get her to relax. "Babe, it's okay," La says softly. "Everything's fine now."
Zara looks down at La, her expression softening slightly as she meets her gaze. She can see the reassuring look in La's eyes and the soothing effect it has on her. She takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself down.
"Okay," she mutters, her voice still shaky with frustration. "But I'm not happy about that kiss."
La couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle at Zara's reaction. "Don't worry, I'll make it up to you later," she says, with a sly wink.
The queen, witnessing this interaction, was clearly annoyed. She clears her throat loudly, attempting to remind them that she's still in the room and expecting an apology. The tension hangs in the air, thick enough to cut with a knife.
La turns her attention towards the queen, sensing her annoyance.
She lets out a small sigh, knowing she has to address the elephant in the room. "I apologize, Queen," she says, her tone sincere but laced with a hint of defiance. "I didn't mean to cause any disturbance." The queen accepts the apology, but her cold expression makes it clear that she's not entirely satisfied.
"I accept your apology," she says curtly, her eyes flickering towards Zara. As soon as Zara and the Queen sits down.
La gathers her thoughts and redirects the conversation back to the issue that had initially caused the tension. "Can we please talk about how you two keep discussing me like I'm some sort of possession?" she asks, her voice filled with a mix of frustration and disappointment.
The queen looks at La for a moment, her expression unreadable. "My apologies if it came off that way," she says, her tone formal and distant. "It's just that you are a Royal Omega, and you need special protection and care." Zara rolls her eyes, annoyed by the queen's words.
"She's still a person, not a zoo animal," Zara snaps.
La chimes in, her voice dripping with sarcasm, "Well, even zoo animals deserve more respect than being treated as objects, right?"
She gives Zara a playful glare before adding, "And don't think you're off the hook yet, babe. We'll discuss this later."
La rises from her seat, a mix of relief and frustration evident on her face.
"If you'll excuse me," she says, her voice laced with amusement, "I think it's about time I head out for some school supplies. You know, the essentials like pencils, notebooks, and a self-defense weapon in case anyone tries to capture my precious soul."
La exits the room with a flourish, leaving the queen and Zara sitting in an awkward silence.
