Six years passed by within a blink of an eye and this is what I had learned. This world serves the primodials in exchange for their power and protection. Some special people come with the the ability to tame beasts. There are three beast levels, the lowest being Normal, then legendary and finally mythic.
They are mostly found roaming about their different habitats but are believed to come from areas called Colossus tombs. No one has seen these tombs in 400years since the Primodials made it that they change location every year. A bit annoying if you ask me. There are several tribes that have been classified into Empires.
There are four Empires that exist in this world. The Human Empire, The Elven Empire, The Demi-human Empire and the Empire of Watchers.
The Elven Empire has two types of Elves, the light Elves that serve the great Dragon of Light and the Dark Elves that serve the Primodial of darkness.
The Human empire consists of three tribes. The Phoenix tribe (where I stay), The Serpent tribe and the Leviathan tribe. All three headed by a king who… has never shown his face… at all. Believing in his nonexistence seems to keep the three tribes together so whatever.
The Demihuman empire has no tribes, just different people living together like it's a city. The Watchers are a mystery but are believed to serve The Earth and Water Primodials but use their blessings differently from how we use them.
For the past three years, my mother has been feeding me with ancient history and current political science so that I can turn into the ultimate Scholar alongside my father's training.
My father married into nobility but my mother on the other hand is a noble through every step of the way. There is one thing that separates Nobles from commoners, and no it's not wealth.
Some Nobles who represent their families as their heirs have guardians called Golems. Golems are spirits that assume a physical body while dressed in armor for battle. Golems are souls of Mythical creatures.
My mum's golem is a 7 foot tall Lion with giant red claws and a mane that's continuously on fire. She has it since the head of the Crimson Lions of Pride. The Lion has watched over me for a long time while I was a kid and we have grown to be friends since I can speak to him. This isn't normal by the way which is why my mum urges me to keep it secret.
"We can't talk to them?" I asked and she giggled. "No you can't buy the fact that you understand him beyond instinct level, then it's not normal so don't tell anyone alright my special boy?" She asked and I nodded willing to accept her wisdom.
"Good now your father is waiting for you outside." She said and hugged me. "Alright, bye!" I ran out of the room leaving my mum with her golem. "He can talk to you?" She asked and the lion roared. "I figured, at least we can coordinate even without communication." She consoled and the lion turned away from her. "Don't act like that!!!"
My dad praises me for how fast I learn how to fight. "Son have I ever told you that I am proud of you?" He said and I sighed with a smile plastered on my face. "Yeah like a million times." I joked and he chuckled.
"The rate at which you learn is amazing even without your powers!" He praised and I could feel my ego almost blowing up!
"When do I get my powers by the way?" I asked and he looked at me blankly. "Tomorrow."
I stared at him shocked at how bluntly he said it. I felt so unprepared that I could die. "You weren't supposed to tell him!!" My mum screamed and dropped kicked him on the chest all while he maintained his winner smile.
"How do you remain smiling like that?" I asked and he laughed while holding back my mother's frail punches. "If you don't smile no one else will do it for you. Besides it's this smile that made your mother fall for me." He teased and my mothers's face turned deep red.
"You know what!? Get prepared we leave for the ceremonial grounds at dawn!" She said and stormed off to hide her embarrassment.
Dad and I looked at each other and laughed out loud.
The following day we arrived at the Ceremonial grounds to receive my blessings from Adara, the Phoenix. A monk dressed in beautiful ceremonial clothing welcomed us and led me to the statue of Adara that stood 12 feet tall with a gem in her hands.
I then recited the incantation I was taught. "Adara, great Phoenix Primodial of all that is crimson and scorching, bless me with your power to set my enemies ablaze and bring glory to your name!!" I said and the room lit up in flames so bright that they were blinding!
"What's happening!?" My mum wondered as she shielded her eyes from the light. "This hasn't happened in over 400years!" The monk added and Adara walked out of a portal.
"There is my favorite mortal!" She said and grinned happily. "Good to see you too!" I said and smiled. "I will grant you my blessing but you will require the blessings of all the others so you can defeat Chaos. Visit each empire to acquire the power and master it." She said and I nodded.
"I wish you luck sweetie !" She exclaimed and disappeared. "Sweetie!?" I wondered and my mum came running to my side. "Marcus Marcus!!! Wait what is that!?" She wondered and I felt the ground shake behind me.
I slowly turned with fear only to see an 8 foot tall Woman dressed in armor with glowing red eyes and her armor drenched in dark red flames. The armor was black and silver in color with a special crest at the center.
"Who are you?" The monk asked with fear and the golem turned to him. "I am a Golem, I have been assigned to protect the future High Lord." She spoke!?
"And who is that?" My father asked while looking ready for a fight. "Your son." She said and pointed at me. Well I can't say I am shocked but the others on the other hand have their jaws on the floor. And that's when I asked myself, what next?
