Alarms continued to sound, indicating that something bad was approaching. Kehal hurriedly ordered an emergency meeting, gathering about 20 of the wizards and swordsmen in the village. There were more than 10 people who would take care of the children.
"Alright, I will build high-level warning magic walls at the north and south gates of the village. There will be a guard system of 1-2 people at each gate. If any demons break in, they must immediately warn others. Then we must unite as a group in this battle. Don't be fooled by the devils because they like to separate us and kill one by one. As for the kids, if they're in danger, give them the teleportation crystal and then immediately send them to the center of the capital city first because there will be a security wizard to keep watch over them. Do you understand, everyone." Kehal ordered in steps.
"Understand!" Everyone responded in unison.
Mariel stood holding her father and mother's hands tightly and feeling a little apprehensive.
(I never thought I would encounter a situation like this. It's even worse than reality. Are the demons going to come and kill people? It's so unfair. Why are they offended? And what about the lives that have been lost? Will I have to say goodbye to my parents again? Will I have to go back to being orphaned like I was in the past? There are countless questions popping into my head.) (Chai thinking)
Tears slowly flowed down Mariel's cheeks, causing her body to tremble with fear of something that she didn't want to happen to herself like in the previous life.
Claudia and Deric also sensed Mariel's concerns. Mariel's hands and body trembled with fear, and they had to stop listening to Kehal's plan to comfort their daughter.
"Don't be afraid, my dear. We must stay alive." Claudia said, wiping away her daughter's tears.
"Don't worry, Mariel. Our village fighting team is very strong. The demons can't do anything. You can trust me." Deric said and smiled to encourage his daughter.
"Don't be afraid. Whatever happens, I'll help you and protect you." Segal said, making another promise to his sister.
Mariel herself has something cheered up but is still paranoid. She is afraid that what she thought just a moment ago will happen.
Kehal then divided the team into 3 teams to deal with the demon army, each team of 6, 6, and 7 people. Each team consisted of swordsmen, shield- swordsmen, wizards, and healers. They will be on guard 24 hours a day; alternating guard shifts every 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
But... 3 days had passed and there was still no sign of the demon army invading this village, but other villages had already been attacked. There were some survivors, and many people dies.
"Strange, why aren't there any demons? Or will they retreat?" One villager asked curiously.
"Don't be negligent at all. Be careful." Kehal warned everyone.
Until the night of the 4th day, while everyone was asleep, there was something happening at the end of the village near the southern gate. There was a young man who was on guard duty. He felt hungry and secretly hid the liquor in a small cloth bag that was secretly placed under a tree not too far away from him. But he still didn't get up to pick it up because he had to wait for Kehal to complete his watching at first, when Kehal went back, he would go to pick it up and drink it.
"Is the situation okay, Chikas?" Kehal walked over and asked.
"It's all right, Chief Kehal. You haven't been able to sleep at all." the young man who named Chikas said.
"No, I am the Chief of this village and a famous sword bureau master. Self-Sacrifice for the others until everything is clear or I won't be able to sleep in peace." Kehal said.
"Excellent. No problem. Everything is fine, Chief Kehal." Chikas said.
"Good, then let me check at the northern gate of the village at first. If there is something urgent, hurry and send a signal immediately to me." Kehal said.
"Yes, Chief Kehal." Chikas promised.
After seeing Kehal use the skill to teleport to the northern gate, Chikas, immediately got up and picked up the cloth bag containing the liquor and sat to his seat.
"I can't stand it, watching as a guard duty alone is the most boring. Let's drink." Chikas stuck out his tongue in thirst. He also picked up a bottle of alcohol and drank it until he started to get drunk.
At that time, it was around 2:00 AM. Suddenly, there was a sound of movement near the bushes outside the southern entrance to the village.
"Who...Who's that?" The drunk young man: Chikas felt a sense of confusion and hurriedly held up his sword and prepared to fight, even though he was in a state where he couldn't even fight at 100%.
There was a young woman with a beautiful face, long black hair, black eyes, wearing normal village clothes. She slowly walked out of the bushes with a mysterious smile on her face.
"Where did you come from, sister? Do you have any business here? Or did you really come to see me?" Chikas asked, dropping sweet words for the young lady.
"My handsome, please help me carry the things. I prepare it for the head of your village," the young woman pleaded.
"Oh, Chief Kehal, yes, where is it?" Chikas immediately offered to help without giving it a second thought.
Chikas walked ahead of the young woman towards the bushes. It was found that inside the bush there was a large black object hidden at the bottom.
"Ah, what is it? WHAT!!!!" Chikas cried out in extreme shock. Right below that the object was the corpse of a woman who he had just met a short time ago. Beside her, many pieces of equipment were scattered all over the place.
*The sound of sharp claws pierced through the young man's back and blood spurted out like a flowing river. *
"Ah!" The young man could only cry out in pain and immediately died on the spot.
"Lol, it's really easy to fool this drunk person." The woman smiled brightly. She then walked over to the magic pillar and cast a sealing spell. This caused the south gate to be closed.
"What happened to the south?" Kehal noticed that the magic pillar on the south gate had turned off. He was feeling bad about this, so he immediately prepared to warp to the south gate.
"As for you, you are here observing. Then quickly wake everyone up," Kehal ordered the guard who was guarding the north gate.
When Kehal quickly teleported to the southern gate. The guard at the gate was preparing to sound the alarm to wake everyone up and prepare for a big battle.
But....suddenly a mysterious rope wrapped around this guard and a gag covering his mouth, making him unable to shout out for help.
The guard tried his best to make a sound but could not do much. The rope that held his body tightened until his bones almost broke.
There was Mysterious man wearing a mask to hide his face and wearing a dark black magician's outfit. The palms had long, completely black claws and casting a spell to seal the magic protection pillar at the north gate.
"It's been many years now. That last defeat, I will pay you back compounded over and over, Lol." The mysterious man laughed coldly.
*The sound of bones breaking throughout the body, then the guard died instantly.*
Suddenly, a mysterious man appeared in front of Deric's house where everyone was asleep.
[Don't break in yet. Wait for me to order again.] The mysterious man telepathically told the demons waiting outside the village to listen for the signal to attack again.
On the other side, Kehal arrived at the southern gate and saw that he was standing over the corpse of a young man, Chikas.
"You come so fast, I haven't even started destroying evidence." The woman said and laughed.
"Huh, you're not human. Reveal your true form!" Kehal took his sword and shield, then slammed his sword power wave into the girl until her body flew far away.
"You're much better than before. Follow me." The woman took a chance when the sword magic hit her. Quickening her Qi, she teleported herself out of the village and into the grassy field not too far away.
"I will get rid of you, you bitch!" Kehal pushed his strength to the max and prepared to destroy the woman as quickly as possible.
"Mechanical's trap activated!" The woman said with a smile. Kehal didn't notice his surroundings because there were black sticks on all four corners of the grass.
Suddenly a small force field appeared and covering both bodies to be trapped in this dark magic area.
"My mistake! this interception traps." Kehal immediately realized his mistake. These traps would disband only if it was able to cause someone to die or retreat. Otherwise, you will not be able to leave.
Wink!!!!!
The girl's body slowly disintegrated and transformed into a black-robed female mage. Her face was beautiful, long black hair that reached her thighs, black lips, bright red eyes like blood. Her right hand held a demon-shaped magic wand with two large horns and three human skulls attached to a rope.
"Do you remember me, Kehal?" the woman asked with a terrifying smile.
"Decira???, the younger twin witch of the two Black Demon Lord brothers." Kehal recalled her from many years ago.
"That's right. Last time your party inflicted a huge wound on me and my older twin brother, Dekiran. Today we will both take revenge on all of you!" Decira began chanting dark magic and preparing to attack.
"What? Deric! Claudia!" Kehal sensed great danger coming to his friend's family.
On the other side, at Deric's home, Dekiran turned off all his senses and his inner Qi. So as not to allow the other people to feel up to his movement and Qi within the body.
Dekiran walked up to the second floor. His destination was Deric and Claudia's bedroom, the goal was to kill them both before they wake up. But...it seemed like something had caught his attention coming from the room next to the right.
Dekiran slowly opened the door and found Mariel asleep in her own bed.
"Just a little girl. Why did she catch my attention." Dekiran shook his head.
Wink!!!!!
The necklace hanging from Mariel's neck suddenly glowed. It was like it could sense the approaching danger.
"Wake up!!!" A mysterious voice shouted from the place. This was not too close, not too far from them.
Mariel suddenly woke up. But it wasn't in time.
Dekiran used his power to pull Mariel's body up from the bed and squeeze her neck tightly, then he prepared to kill her soon.
"Ouch!!!" Mariel gasped and tried using her both hands to loosen Dekiran's hand, but it was useless.
"This necklace of darkness. How did you get something like this? I guess I'll have to kill you first," Dekiran said, ready to use his long black claws to strike Mariel in the middle of the chest.
"Help me." Mariel began to lose her strength to resist.
Suddenly, ice magic force broke through the wooden wall of the large room and hit Dekiran's left side body with full force. Until he released Mariel from his hand. Then he stood holding the left side of his stomach in pain.
"Don't hurt my daughter, you brute!" Deric rushed forward, grabbed Dekiran, and slammed him into the wooden wall until both bodies fell outside the eaves of the house.
Claudia rushed in to check on her daughter and used magic to heal the bruise on her neck. As for Segal, he hurriedly woke up and ran from another bedroom to help take care of his little sister.
"Segal, Mariel, if the situation is not good, then use these two teleportation crystals and teleport yourselves to the center of the capital." Claudia hurriedly handed the blue crystals to them and prepared to go down to join her husband.
"What about mom and dad?" Mariel asked.
"Mom and dad will join later. I love you, sweetheart." Claudia kissed her daughter's right cheek and hurried downstairs.
"Stay in the house, Mariel. Whatever happens, just do as Mother Claudia tells us." Segal said.
The situation was getting heated outside the house. Deric raised his right hand above his head and his magic wand shot out of the bedroom and into his hand.
"How dare you sneak in? I will kill you." Deric pointed his magic wand at Dekiran defiantly without fear.
Deric then shot a white light from his magic wand into the sky, waking everyone up and preparing for battle. People hurriedly woke up and prepared to go outside with their weapons.
Dekiran snapped his fingers. Then, hundreds of dark demons appeared from the forest next to the village.
"Everyone, use the battle plan that Chief Kehal ordered. Where did he go?" Derick said with doubt.
"My sister is probably attached to him by now. It wouldn't be convenient to help you guys' fight," Dekiran said teasingly.
"What? Then I'll be your opponent," Deric said confidently. Claudia then joined in with a magic healing wand.
"Oh, husband and wife, Deric and Claudia. We haven't seen each other for a long time." Dekiran said.
"You know us too. Who are you?" Deric felt suspicious of the other person who felt like they had fought before.
Dekiran slowly took off his mask and revealed his true face. A man with a long face and bright red eyes, with his terrifying fangs bared.
"Dekiran!" Deric and Claudia were stunned when they met their old enemies again.
"Today, the revenge will be settled again. With the blood of the two of you!" Dekiran finished speaking and spread his dark magic power around this area.
"Be prepared! Don't underestimate him, Claudia." Deric said as he finished casting his Ice magic spell and prepared.
"Ok!" Claudia said, casting a spell to strengthen her and Deric's protection shields.
A group of people began to fight against the continuously approaching demons. Deric and Claudia began to fight Dekiran with advanced magic powers.
Boom!!!!
*Two magical sounds collided violently, causing a loud sound to be heard everywhere. *
Mariel looked out of the window on the first floor of the house, worried about her parents. As for Segal, he always had his sword and teleportation crystals ready.
